Sorry I forgot to add my statement has already been issued and my direct debit is due to come out in about 2 weeks time.

I was sent a statement saying my DD would be £120. Shortly after that my £100 cashback was credited to the account, and when the DD was taken it was only for £20.

I've had my card since last August so was expecting my cashback to be credited this month. However, this month's statement has now been produced and there is no cashback credit showing on it. I haven't had the statement in the post yet, just seen the online version, so I don't know what will show as my accumulated cashback. All my payments are up to date so not sure why I haven't had my cashback.

Do they credit it after the statement ie it will show as a new transaction shortly? Apologies if this has already been asked and answered.

I think I answered it four posts above yours :)

Apparently you get cashback on your anniversary date, which is 12 months from the date you first used your cad

I'll have to keep checking then! I can't remember when I first used the card and no cashback is showing yet. I know I went on holiday at the end of August and think I had the card then. £100 would be a nice anniversary present though! :)

My statement was produced and then I got the cashback credited to my account online a few days later, guessing it will show up as a loyalty credit on the 13th month statement! Keep checking it should show up soon! :)

Thanks, hoping that will happen to mine too then!:D
  • It looks like the cashback that's "rounded down" isn't lost, it's carried forward to the next year. A friend got the card around the same time as me and earned £58.20 cashback. She's been credited with £55 as expected, but her next statement shows £3.20 "Previous cashback earned".

I have had my Aqua credit card since last August and until now everything was fine. However, my latest statement showed previous cashback £89.78 (this is correct) and closing balance this month £444.22 but cash back only £9.71 (roughly 2%), and total cashback earned £99.49. I appreciate the maximum cashback is £100 per annum, but I would expect my cashback to date to show as £100. I have emailed Aqua and am awaiting their reply.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I have just reported Aqua to the Financial Ombudsman. The reason I did not receive cashback up to £100 is that just before my statement date I received a credit for £16.99 (3% is £0.51). I had hit the £100 earlier in the month so all purchases after that (over £70 worth) were ignored, but the credit then reduced my £100 by £0.51!! If I had received the credit before I hit £100 there would not be a problem. As it is I have only received £95 as they only pay multiples of £5. Their software is flawed (the timing of a credit should not affect total cashback) but Head Office, who have examined my case, refuse to admit it. I know it's only £5 but I am really annoyed by their attitude. Why could they not admit the error, apologize, and pay me the cashback to which I am entitled.

You've reported them to the ombudsman for a fiver? Truely pathetic. What a waste of everyone's time and resources.
