When do you get paid your cashback?

Think I think you get it paid once per year on the anniversary date of the card, I got mine last June, so hopefully then!

Does the cashback simply get credited back onto your card?
If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)

I've just had the letter saying my limit has been increased which is good news i won't have to keep doing multiple payments to aqua each month. It says within 40 days but how soon have people had the increase ? its says i can phone to request an immediate increase but i really don't want to do that . looks like aqua will be my main credit card until i earn the 100 pounds cashback.

If you don't phone they can make it 40 days as per the letter. If you do phone they can apply it immediately.

Why don't you want to phone?

they sent me the letter one day after my statement was issued in the letter it does say please check your next statement to make sure the increase has been applied so i assume it will be on or before the statement date.

I payed the bill yesterday so i could phone on the pretense that i'm enquiring about that lol.

Or you could tell them the actual reason for your call instead of faffing around with pointless stuff like discussing a bill you already know you've paid...

Hmmm, good point! Will make the occasional small purchase on it!

Its also a good card for when you purchase items online in another currency. Typically youd save 3% - 6% with this card, depending on if youve got your max casback or not.

Youd save at least 2% though. Most people would save at least 2.75% imo
  • It's a nice card, but wasn't for me. I didn't like the way the product was administered and closed the account about six/seven weeks after opening.

Several things I didn't like with the administration, but the main thing was they still took a direct debit from my current account even though I paid the first statement in full. When I rang up to complain they stated that the procedure was correct as in accordance with their policy (although very vague in the t&cs). They said that although I had paid the statement balance in full, I had made further transactions since the statement was issued that created a new balance and that this was the reason for taking the direct debit. Although I pointed out that the new transactions were not due for payment and no other credit card I have owned have done anything similar they were adamant that they were correct in applying their t&c's and polices. I requested to close account with immediate effect and they cleared all my outstanding balance as a goodwill gesture.

So although I didn't like the way they conducted their administration of my account, I would still recommend them as an excellent product and also appear responsive to customer complaints/issues.
