They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Guys,
My point was relevant in that there is a difference between parked and waiting and if it's not a free car park then it's a subtle difference, and one I was prepared to fight Morrisons on.0 -
If parking eye do not own the land they have no right to offer parking in the first place.
So they have absolutely no right to issue penalties on land they do not own.
OP : This is an impersonation of authority scam, get reading the threads, they can do nothing if you ignore them that make threats and pretend to be other types of authority such as solicitors and debt collectors.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The landowner could ask for the parking fee (or whatever the Pay and display amount would be for 30 minutes), but Parking Spy can't.
But don't worry Parking Eye's system are so dodgy they try to charge anything which doesn't pay including emergency service vehicles.0 -
I just received a letter from Parking Eye alleging that I either parked without a ticket or didn't pay enough for the time I was there (they don't seem to know which I did!) from the car park in Hawkshead near Ambleside in the Lakes.
I appreciate that people are saying not to pay a "parking charge notice to owner" from Parking Eye, but they are acknowledged by the Lake District National Park website I am still a little concerned.
Can you reasure me? I'm a law abiding person so not paying a fine immediately is not something I do normally!
Thanks!0 -
It's not a fine! You have not broken any laws ! This is just an invitation to pay them an obscene amount of money, don't accept that invite. The invite is just in fact an invoice that can be ignored.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. I've just been in receipt of a parking charge notice from PARKING EYE for overstaying Aldi Catfords 1 hour free parking by 15 mins. Many thanks to this thread i now know how to deal with this so called fine, but, i could do without the unwanted mail so am considering an appeal. I've proof of debit card payments and the shop was REALLY busy with only one checkout open the Friday of Jubilee weekend. Has anyone successfully appealed? Also, any thoughts on whether my car is at risk of being clamped or towed if i return to shop there again with an unpaid charge on my vehicle? Also, as there are no actual parking charges for the free hour or beyond, how can there be any loss to PARKING EYE or Aldi? Its not my usual supermarket but the value can't be sniffed at and for the sake of saving £40/£70 will i be burning bridges with a genuine source of money saving?0
