Tesco/Asda sells it for under £3.00 for 6 tins, my lot like the one that is "fish variety" and between the 4 of them they only have 2 tins per day plus they top up on dry food.
Asda do 24 tins of their own brand cat food for a tenner as well. Ours actually prefer that over most wet foods

There must be an outdoor market nearby where foreign cat food pouches etc are sold cheaply. Also i have no problem in feeding Mr Hop "out of date" stuff (As i said to the market holder wants - "he never reads the label")
Plus i have Pmed OP who has replied telling him how to earn some extra dosh by way of this board."if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170 -

But wet food...even the cheaper stuff...is still quite a lot more than dry. I know most of us consider wt food far superior, but I fed my cats completely on dry for YEARS and they did not do too badly. Ok, I would draw the line at the cheapest supermarket foods as I am sure thay cause urinary issues, but even buying a better brand of dry such as Hills etc would work out cheaper. I used to buy 5kg bags of prescription dry for around £30 and that fed 4 cats for about 6 weeks.
Oh, and agree that emailing lots of comapnies for samples is a great idea...what was that one on GR's thread, I got a biggish bag of that to try.0 -

OP....no point in being embarrassed about this issue, you have been open enough to post on here about it so let's get it sorted!0
