If the "team" can't moderate the forum then something is clearly wrong. Now can we stay on topic?

Surely the topic is the approach to moderating used on the site?

Rather than the topic being "poor me, they is all ganging up on me"?

It's a private site, private terms; If you don't like it, stop posting?
I'd bet the deletions centred around discussion of how to evade the license fee whilst contravening the conditions that require a license; and hence would be fraudulent in the same way that evading tax or committing benefit fraud are.

I've even had one admin (wont mention her name) say I should just put the troll(s) on ignore so they can continue to attack me but the moderation team don't have to do anymore!

I heard that one user (won't mention his/her name) say that, in using a web forum, they have earned the right to command a staff of servants to follow them round the site deleting anything they find objectionable, so they can continue to use the site but the user doesn't have to bother clicking an "ignore" button!

(This is documented here if the user wishes to deny it.) ;)
One of these trolls even done a whois of me to add to his attack...

How can you do a whois of a person?! The forum server might be recording your IP address, but none of the other users will be able to see that. How have these trolls obtained an IP address or domain name that relates to you without you giving it to them? And why would you have a problem with people using information that you have supplied to a public register?!

Why not set up your own site so that you can censor your users and modify or delete any posts you don't like? Or maybe just hire someone who can read the forum posts to you and apply whatever censorship/filtering/etc. you wish so you never need to read objectionable content...?

Is telling people to do one because they stick to the terms & conditions the best you can do or right for the matter?

The posts in question which were removed included links which proved someone was giving the wrong information. The person in quetion was telling readers everyone who owned a TV needed a BBC TV Licence which isn't true.

I've made it known I suspect he has a connection with the BBC which is why he follows me around getting TV Licence threads locked. He wont click the ignore button because he's not paid to ignore criticism of the BBC.

    Whois of a website

Sorry I thought this was an open forum with no bias..................or are you another who refuses to have any criticism of the BBC?

Why are you trying to deflect this and get personal??

Moderating a forum is nothing to do with censorship, its about keeping it running smoothly and without bias..............if its an open forum and not subject related

I'm suggesting (note- I'm not "telling" you to do anything, stop being so dramatic) that if you don't like how someone runs THEIR site, you have little choice in the matter.

How exactly do you define "an open forum" - it's certainly not un-censored, and the degree of and approach to censorship is clearly stated to not be up for debate.

You want this site to be something it is not. That's your mis-understanding. perhaps you should read the site guidance in full?

As stated above, it is a private forum, that you have been allowed to post on, it is entirely up to the owner what he wants to be allowed posted. Imagine it be a shop, you are allowed to go in to shop, but the store can, without reason, refuse a sale and ask you to leave, you have no right to shop there, as no one has the right to post here.
Copy from one, it’s plagiarism; copy from two, it’s research.

Why do you wish to keep pushing this. Translated you are saying you can chat about what you like but don't knock the BBC. The fact remains I stick to the terms and conditions and I'd like to know why these certain individuals wont & get away with it

Are you saying it's not an open forum and that the BBC is a taboo subject.....................unless everyone says how great it is, hmm

"363 Licence required for use of TV receiver
    (1) A television receiver must not be installed or used unless the installation and
use of the receiver is authorised by a licence under this Part.
    (2) A person who installs or uses a television receiver in contravention of
subsection (1) is guilty of an offence.
    (3) A person with a television receiver in his possession or under his control
    who—
    (a) intends to install or use it in contravention of subsection (1), or
    (b) knows, or has reasonable grounds for believing, that another person
intends to install or use it in contravention of that subsection,
    is guilty of an offence.
    "

I'd guess you were arguing that possession of an installed receiver doesn't count if you do not actually use it; basing your view on the TV licensing website.

You should have looked at the Law instead.
