cheers TB
All you need to do is ask for the number of Head Office as you will be taking the matter up with them. Also an idea to state (as I did) that you had read horror stories on the internet about this happening with discontinued (and hence extremely low priced) TVs at Currys nationwide, whilst (of course) stating that you are not necessarily accusing this particular store of such underhand tactics but you will be contacting HO to query how on a computerised system products you have reserved and had confirmed have (somehow) been sold in such a short space of time. :rolleyes:0 -

and why shouldnt it happen ? ?

If you had taken the trouble to actually read my other posts on this thread, you wouldn't have made yourself look such a numpty by posting this. Like I PREVIOUSLY said (check it out), I have absolutely no problem with staff seeing cheap stuff and buying it themselves. What I DEFINITELY DO have a problem is with staff nabbing stuff that has ALREADY BEEN RESERVED BY A CUSTOMER. If you can't see the difference, I reckon both you and Currys deserve each other. :rolleyes:0 -

For anyone who has yet to pick theirs up these are brill. Friend picked mine up along with theirs, after i had told them about them, tonight. I cant believe we got them at that price. My friend said when he got to the till and they scanned them the staff member said something about that cant be right and i think called someone over but said that because thats what they had been shown at then they let them through at that price.
Not only are they a hoover with all the attachments and carry strap and drawstring bag for the bits but also can be used for drying your dog. Also comes with an attachment so you can blow up airbeds and inflaitable toys.
This will be great for doing the car and drying the dog (he has to go swimming due to hip probs) also dusting the keyboard and inside the computer. The power on this has to be felt to be believed. Its so powerful considering its a handheld. I would even consider having this as the main hoover especially if you live alone and its also very space saving. I havent had proper use of it yet just trying out different attachments etc but from what i have seen so far im very impressed.
Great find op. :T0 -
It's been 12 hours and I still havent had my confirmation email of my reserved item!0

I didn't know that you got a confirmation email.
I just printed off my Reservation Details, when prompted on screen, and took that in to Currys. I was given their ex-display vacuum, which I was okay about - after first getting them to check all the attachments were there.
I was told someone had just bought one, thinking they'd be paying £49.99 and when it went through at £4.98 they took the lot, leaving just my reserved one. The one that was left on display.0
