I must have a read of that blog. I think I spend money too freely without thinking actually I still have 18k + of debt. Well done you on not buying the choc bar - it's the little things that add up.

Any more thoughts on your career? I hope you managed a better sleep x

I have had a very productive morning, despite being up half the night with Roo

Hes having a sleep so I've been trying to get a few bits done. I've unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, hung up one lot of washing and put another lot in. Cleaned the bedroom window inside and out as it was disgusting! I've cleaned out and sorted 3 of the kitchen cupboards I'm thinking that if I do a little at a time it will actually get done rather than thinking I need to find a whole day to sort the kitchen out. Just having a bit of a sit down and a mocha before roo wakes up!

ok well me and roo are in bed, I can hear him through the wall, snoring away bless him.

I've spent a little while on the computer and speaking to universities trying to find out what is best for me to do. I've finally managed to speak to someone at the nearest uni that does the course, which is an hour away, and they asked me to send them an email with all my questions on, so hopefully it wont be too long before I get an answer, best case scenario....... I will only have to do 3 more courses with the OU which is £2600 plus the cost of an extra tutor at £1600 aprrox, and get accepted into the teacher training at the Uni thats an hour away, which unfortunately is still £9000. But that would be the best thing. Worst case, I have to do the course at the local uni and spend £24,000 doing it along with 2 more courses to make up my points, which I think would be another £14,000 plus the £9,000 for the teacher training, god thats so much money, I'm looking at nearly £50k of student loans, seriously that can't be right... I'm not sure on the £14,000 figure, think I need to check it, either way, but the rest are right so its just too bloody expensive, I don't know how anyone studies these days with those costs! My hat comes off to you if you manage to do this! So basically, if I can't do the first option, I don't know what I'm going to do..... I guess I will just have to wait and see what they come back with.......

Grrrrr Roo woke up at 4.30 and is refusing to go back to sleep, even when I put him in my bed, so he's been tossing about and whinging and trying to stand up for 40 minutes, so now I've put him back in his cot and he's screaming his head off not sure what else to do x

I feel your pain missy my lo woke at 1045 last night, then didn't go back to sleep til after 2 it's not good there's got to be an end to the sleepless nights lol

It does seem an awful lot of money for your courses hope you get it sorted soon xxx

Oh bells not you too, lack of sleep is horrible im sure its a form of toture! And rest would be nice choc, but chance would be a fine thing. I've been out and about visiting family all day today, it was nice to see everyone but I'm knackered. Really cross, I went into waterstones to get a book for my tutorial tomorrow, bit cross with myself as if i had got it earlier it would have cost be a third of the cost. I saw the book on waterstones website for £8.70 and when I got to the shop, I was charged £11, when I questioned it apparantly they charge you more to go in the shop!!!! Unless you click and reserve!!!! Honestly, talk about crazy! But fortunately the man took pity on me and refunded the difference, but honestly!!!!

I had an email back with regards to the full time course and it will only (lol) cost £24k not the extra £14k as first thought, but I will still have to pay the £9k for the teacher training, so the whole thing will still cost me £33k if I want to go down that route. I am still waiting to hear back from the other uni, an hour away to find out whether me changing my degree etc is enough for me to get on the teacher training course. Which would cost £2600 courses + £1600 tutor + £9000 teacher training, equating to £14200. So a difference of £18800!!!! Sooo much money!

Right have just redeemed some tesco vouchers that were going to run out today and have changed them for 4x the amount for some restaurant vouchers, lovely!

Gosh am shattered, really need to go to sleep.

Roo work up at 4.30 again am so tired again today have been to my tutorial this morning. Glad I went, as I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise. Me dnd roo are just chilling In front of the tv, I guess he's just as tired as me. Hmm what should i do tonight. Another night in front of the tv I dear. TVs rubbish at the moment too. Debating whether to take roo out for dn afternoon walk, feel like getting out of the house.

trying to do my assignment again, trouble is im a little bit engrossed in watching all the christmas food programmes on the tv..... I love them
