Lovely, thanks bella and Wendz :) still sinking in, it's a bit scary!

Roos really poorly today, he has a really bad cold and is really not happy, he's really grizzly and clingy. I do hope he feels better soon.

Ok, with regards to my career, I've spoken to the OU about my options and they're going to ring me back within 5 working days, so hopefully sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed I can do what I'm hoping and it won't make me go onto the new fee system! Still coming up with a plan to pay the £9k teacher training

hmmm if over the next 5ish years I need to make £9000, which equates to £5 a day and £150 a month!!!! Any ideas, I think I might have to look at the £5 a day thread!!!! Seems such a lot of money to make. any ideas on how I can do it, or can anyone recommend any good threads to read??

Thanks guys, talking things through with you, always seems to help :)

As you want to change to the open degree you should be able to do so as I have recently done so. All your modules can be counted towards it. Is this course at the local uni only for one year?

    Hello

Sorry I thought I'd best reply, eventhough its late. Thanks for posting debrag. I've spoken to the OU and I can change my course and not incur fees to finish my degree but, to go into the field I want to, I'm going to have to do an open degree and specialise in design tech, now I really want to teach food tech which has nothing to do with design but as far as I can see there is no other way around it. The huge stumbling block here, is im really really rubbish at design, I think I got an F at gcse!! So I'm really unsure what to do.... Ive got until september to decide as my current course doesnt finish until about then anyway. I've spoken to my friend who is an english teacher and has offered for me to go and see her at her school where she teaches so that I can get a feel for english, and see if it was just the way it was done at the school I used to work at I didn't like. so we will see what I think after that.

Roo has still got a horrible cough and cold, but he is a little bit better today, although hes already woken up screaming, and OH couldnt settle him as he only wanted me :(

Were off to tell the family the baby news tomorrow. wish me luck!

I like the idea on the cupcake front choc, I just worry I wont have time to have another baby, study and make cupcakes! But I guess in a couple of years time things will get easier. From january I need to be making £5 a day, any money up until then is going to be spent on christmas. I'm trying to think of ways to bring the shopping bills down so I can save the money I save. I've been looking at the £10 a day thread but am yet to get any ideas.

Right its late and I need sleeps, I've finished book 2 of my 3 I need to read, so I need to finish my last book in the next couple of days, my kindle tells me I've read 10% already so not a bad start.

Right sorry, im rambling as I'm tired.

    night xx

Have text my mother a scan picture to tell her of the good news, but she hasnt replied yet.... I am worried as to people's reactions due to the gap between babies being so small... I'm sure people will be wondering how I'll cope with OH away more than half the year. But I'll manage, I always do.

Ahh missy I hope you have heard from your Mum now and all is good. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks as long as you and hubby are happy that's all that matters xxx
