Grrr had to wait 40 mins for Roos Drs appt as they were running late, consequently he was starving and crying, have now fed him and he's having his milk in bed. Am exhausted as didn't realise the De would take so long so didny bother with the pushchair, so I had to walk about holding him for 40 minutes. And ges been crying for nearly an hour, OH has just asked me why I seem so stressed!!!!!! Seriously, MEN!!!

Oh poor little Roo, and you! How did he get on at the Dr's with his ears?

I'm amazed at OH's and their ability to NOT understand things so well. Don't foget Missy you are supposed to be superwoman at all things, we're note allowed to get stressed :rotfl:

How are you both doing today?

Sorry to hear about MIL. I think i'd be annoyed too!

    Choc xx

Ok, having a slightly better day today :). Have been super stressed though, everything seems to be getting on top of me at the moment. Have the whole family coming over for a party tomorrow night, thought there'd be about 18 people but now there's about 30 coming!!!! So I'm cooking a buffet type thing, curry, chilli, wedges, rice, sausages, pizza, salad and bread, then making a couple of cheesecakes for afters. Which would be fine apart from I'm out all morning for a tutorial!!!! Me and OH have spent the whole day cleaning do the house looks tidy enough, and we're getting a tesco order tomorrow. Tried to make roo a birthday cake this morning, it didn't go too well!! But I've changed the idea, and instead of making a character cake I've just made the topper. Have to make a medeira cake to ice this evening, along with having to read some text for my tutorial tomorrow! I just don't seem to stop at the moment. Have managed To buy my first 2 Xmas presents, so was happy about that!

    Hello

Party went really well thank you, although 12 people didnt turn up which was really annoying when I had done so much food :(

Trouble was I was on my feet all day and didn't stop at all, so by 10.30 I had had it, and have to say I was really glad when everyone went home at 11! Trouble is roo was awake most of the night so by the time I woke up on sunday I felt horrendous! I developed a horrible cough and cold over night and my back was really sore from all the standing up the day before. Roo fell asleep at 10am so I put myself back to bed, only to have my perfect friend knock on the door at 12 to find me in my dressing gown all bleary eyed!! I felt like a right one, not dressed at lunch time on a sunday and I hadnt given her back the tin I had borrowed which is what she was after. Trouble is whenever I see her I'm in a state of disarray (sp?) holey tights or no make up or Roo in his pyjamas etc. Where as she is a size 6, always completely immaculate, as is her house!!! We went round OH's mothers for lunch and that was nice, and Roo actually slept last night, and we spent all day in the city today. Which was lovely but still not feeling quite right, after a few hours I'd had it. Home now though and in bed, reading one of my 3 set texts I need to read before my assignment at the end of the month!!!

Really need some advice on becoming a teacher as I really don't know what I need to do once my courses have finished?!

Hope you're all ok and have had a nice weekend and a not too bad a monday.

    x

Omg!! I can't sleep, so have just been looking further into wanting to teach and I've just found out to do the final part so that I can actually teach is £9000!!!!! When I looked a couple of years ago it was before the fee hikes and was only £3500ish. Really don't know what I'm going to do, can't afford that plus childcare!!! OH has been paying for my current courses but he's going to flip when he finds out how much that is!!!!! There is another way of going on to teach where you get paid to train, but you need a 2,1 degree which I can't guarantee, 3 years exp working in a school and they have 250 people apply for each place!!!!!!! God no wonder I can't sleep now! X

Only up to chapter 10 on my first book, have no idea how I'm going to read everything I'm supposed to. Roo is finally asleep and OH has taken it upon himself to clean the kitchen. Although I'm very pleased he's doing it and that he's letting me get on, I'm sure I'll get a lecture on cleaning later!!
