Diary for motivation

Having a slight throwing my toys out of the pram moment. OH turns up at job centre for interview, however the interviewer does not turn up !!! a different interviewer turns up at 9:30, OH interview was supposed to be 9, by this time the 9:30 candidate has arrived and they send him in and they send in without speaking to OH. OH goes and finds someone and explains he will have to leave as he needs to get to his part time work for 10:30. They apolgise and say they will try and find out what is happening and ring him back later today. How are people supposed to get jobs when they can't sort out interviews :eek:
Ok going to try and be calm again now, just frustrating as OH is trying so hard to get a job, been just over a year now, it's not easy out there.

frustrating is mild!!

I bet youre both furious, what a terrible way to treat people, we'd get the sack if we behaved like that. Doesnt inspire confidence does it?

:jGreat news - ours have been under threat one way or another for the past 2 years .... it gets a bit wearing after a while. We'll prob start again soon as coming up to financial year end again

OMG that's absolutely awful :mad: - what's the latest .... did anyone ring? Has a new interview been scheduled? Beeping hope so......

The stupid job centre for you hubs. like you say how is any one meant ot get a job!!

Morning Fae - Rubbish news about DH interview. Hope they have called, apologised and rescheduled.
Great work I see still going on the craft fairs - and that the need to spend seems to be going.

Thanks for all the postive comments, makes me feel better to know I am not overeacting about the interview. OH hasn't heard anything yet he is giving them today and if he doesn't hear anything will call them tommorrow, he was recommended for the job by a friend of his, so he will try and call him to, to see if he can help at all.

Rising - how awful for you, I think some companies are very short sighted, and don't realise how wearing it is to have the constant worry, and that it can affect how well you are able to work. I hope things gets sorted for you soon.

Just a little update, just had a chat with my boss and she has confirmed that my job is safe, although I was pretty sure it was so nice to be told directly. Not only that but I will be moving to a dual role, helping with another department, so a chance to learn some new things and extend my skills, really pleased. :j
