I would agree with the parking! Yes it's nice for 'customers' to not have to walk far, but how on earth are all the crafters going to get their stuff into the church hall? They gotta carry it halfway round the town first?! :p

Turns out there is no parking at all, not even for people coming to shop. I just assumed if a craft fair is being held it would be in a place with some parking, I will make sure I check next time. Still done now, so fingers crossed it goes well on the day anyway and I make lots of money to help out with those CC's.

Good day today, managed to get a lower rate CC, so am able to move a reasonable amount over to get the best benefit from this, and will be able to close one of my higher rate cards, and close another next month. Even better it's taken another month of my DFD date so pleased :j

Well done on getting the new cc- I am currently looking for a transfer but not sure how good my credit rating is at moment.

    Well done fae

    Hi GL,

You can get your credit rating for free on Noddle.com, however having read around the forums, credit scores don't mean much if anything at all. Most advice on here is that most lenders won't lend more than half of your income, so that's kinda what I have been working with, and just making sure any unused credit is closed, and that I lower the credit limits as cards get gradually paid of. Fingers crossed for you getting a good transfer.

  • Thanks Fae,
Since I last posted I have been successful in getting a loan through work, its for £9000 at 6.4% APR so I am using the money to clear my Barclaycard which is approx £9000 at 25.9% APR- it will be paid off in 3 years.

    I will have a look at Noddle.com.

Are you busy preparing for your craft fair?

Hope you have a great Sunday!
