            Hi,
Well work have today said that they are going to be cutting jobs, so got to keep my fingers crossed that I keep my job, just have to wait on see, not much else I can do there. Everyone affected will know by Mid Nov, so just in time for Christmas, not that there is ever a good time.
On the plus side found a little more money to pay a bit more off, from ebay sales and just being very careful so CC 1 now down to £885, so will be paid of in Dec.
Just realised that brings my total debt to £9995 so under the 10K mark :j so pleased.

Fingers crossed you escape the cuts Fae! You are doing brilliantly well, getting under the £10k mark is a great boost I bet! :T0

            Thanks Ladybird,
Last Credit card statement of the month arrived today, and the interest was a bit lower than I thought and less than I had put by for the payment, so an extra £5 to Credit card 1 so edging ever closer to paying that one of :j
Plus I have now taken another month of my Debt Free date, even better

You're doing really well on your NSDs Fae. Have to admit I'm struggling a bit! Maybe have to change the 'rules' for myself slightly if I can't hit my target. We'll see!!
You 'lost' a zero plus another month less til DFD!! Woohoooooo :jWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

Fingers crossed you will be ok with your job Fae. Keep us up to date.
Well done with the CC payments, it could have been easy to spend or lose motivation when you found out the news.
Hope you get good news soon.

No update on the job situation yet, just keeping everything crossed.
Couldn't get myself motivated to list items on ebay yesterday, just seemed like such a chore, on the plus side I did make a nice cheap dinner, and some flapjack for work lunches so not totally unproductive. I have decided that I'll get photos taken, postage prices sorted etc ready for the next free listing day, so it'll be easier to list, that should help.
Hope everyone has a good Monday

I just start everything under 99p and then don't have to worry about free listing days. I am just the same though, always find it a chore. It is packaging and posting that I find the biggest hassle though!
Homemade flapjacks are always so cheap and easy to make! I made some lovely raisin and poppyseed ones last weekend but one of the blooming dogs got up on the sideboard as they were cooling and scoffed half of them!0

Ladybird you are right with the 99p start, I suspect I just need to find some motivation from some where and stop making excuses
Submitted our Gas and Elec readings today, bit nervous because we have been really careful and was wondering how well we have done, we have managed to clear almost all the arrears just had to pay 2.58 so very pleased with that, and we had done better than my caculations, so just got to keep an eye on them over winter now.

Gas and Elec one less debt then- thats positive!
I am trying to keep my usage down this winter, have lined my curtains with fleece blankets and bought us all cosy fleece dressing gowns, slippers etc.

Great work on the G&E! I noticed there were a couple of threads on saving winter fuel bills on the old style board, keep meaning to check them out!
I still need to curb my tumble drier usage... hard to dry things until we start putting the heating on though!0
