Hi Fae

Glad you got that rant out of your system!!
This is the part you gotta remember......and continue to do what is best for OH and me
I feel your pain/hurt ref your parents. All I want is my parents to be happy for me too! I don't know if they ever will be truly happy for me
Every so often I find myself defending my relationship and telling them yet again that yes, I am happy where I'm at!!
You can't keep everyone happy all of the time. So you gotta do what's right for YOU and YOUr family! This is YOUr life. Nobody elses. You only get to live it once.
:j to your payrise too

You know what Fae, you can't please all the people all the time. Sorry your parents aren't being more supportive, families can be tricky things!!
Hope you are feeling brighter x0 -
Thanks headabovewater and LB, you are both so right, feeling better about it all now.
I now have a 7 on my outstanding which is a great feeling, also my OH will have paid of his loan by the end of Aug so will be able to give me more money towards housekeeping, so I will have extra for paying of debts so I will now go and add that into my snowball calculator to see what effect that will have

Hi Fae - how are things going ? x2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
2017. Lets start this again shall we?

Well I haven't been on here for a while for various reasons, and unfortunately have falling of the wag on somewhat, so cross with myself.
However I have realised a few things
1. If I hadn't done anything at all with my debt then things would be even worse now.
2. I really do need to keep coming on here as it really helps me to get focused.
3. I need to keep my budget spreadsheets updated as its so easy to loose track.
I will be back on here a bit later with an updated signature and a new SOA ready for a fresh start.

Hiya

Yes it has been a while since you've been on. I would also agree with your point of coming on to the forum to keep yourself focussed!
:)
Next step: SOA please
