Well even more good news, managed to get another even lower rate credit card, and this will mean I knock another month of my DFD :j so pleased really feel I am making progress.

Got some more things onto ebay today and already have a few watchers so fingers crossed.

Will be doing a little spending tomorrow as it's my Birthday so we are going out for lunch :D so looking forward to it. Funny how now we don't go out as much we enjoy it all the more.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

    Hi Gl,

Not as well as I would like at the moment, someone hit my car at the weekend outside my house, and didn't leave a note, leaving me with the excess to pay !!, so just trying to work out the best thing to do, we have had a quote to only have the nessary work done, i.e only things to stop it getting worse, and it needs a new door, so even with replaceing it with a second hand door it will cost £600 to repair. So taking it to get it valued for poss selling tonight to see if that works out as a better option. We will get something sorted.

  • Ah no! Bummer about the car :( Maybe selling will work out cheaper. Hopefully you get something sorted which doesn't damage the ££ end of things too much.
Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out
  • Sorry to hear about your car fae - any news on it?

You did well getting lower interest cc's - have just transfered ours to 0%- only for 6months but it was an offer from one of our existing cards so it saved us applying for another and risking mucking up our credit rating further.

Hope you've had a good weekend.

The car problem is sorted, I got a good offer for it and managed to purchase a replacement car that is much cheaper to run, only £30 tax per year :D purchased the replacment for the amount we are getting for the damaged one, so haven't got to pay anything extra, great to have it all sorted.
