Just checked the interest payment on the CC that I paid of in full last month, the interest is for the time between the statement and the full payment, the interest is a grand total of 8p :rotfl:hardly worth them charging me.

They're clutching at straws! They can see you're not gonna be caught up in the interest thing so they're scraping every penny they can off you!!

    Hello All,

Thanks for the good wishes, :) OH has been offered work with the company, however it is ad hoc, and may mean he can't keep up his part time work, as he would need to make himself available for the new job, even though they will only give him hours on a weekly basis. At the moment they just want him for cover for sickness hols etc, so don't want to give him a perm job with perm hours etc as they can't afford to have extra staff.
So we have to sit and have a talk and think about the best thing to do. The new work is a better hourly rate, its just a gamble on whether he will get enough hours, and whether it will lead to a permant full time job, we know that his part time work won't lead to a permant full time job, but we know the few hours he does are safe at the moment. mmmm never simple is is, I'm sure we will work it out. :D On the plus side at least he was offered something, so they must have thought something of him.
