I use old t shirts, sheets and cut strips out of them.i then just wash them so i never have to buy any.
It cost me £19 a tub two years ago and ive still got loads. The hair on my legs and pits is so thin now i only use it about twice a year and a lot of hairs just dont grow anymore. i use it on my pits to less than one min and there clean and clear for months i just puck one or two that get missed.
NADS is 100% natural the makers even say you can eat it. :j

Is there any other epilators that anyone can suggest for facial hair?0

Another vote for the sander-thingy!
I bought one from Ideal World for approx £20 with loads of discs - I cant get on the site right now as its down but replacement discs I think are about £15 for 100. One half leg will use a disc.
Waxing is too expensive and epilators are TORTURE to me.
The sander thingies are painless, though it does take a while. Regrowth, to me, is the same as waxing and hair gets finer.
I imagine, though, that if you have finer hair than I do (and most people do!) then you have more options.

Very apt discussion after having watched hairy women documentary on channel 5 tonight.
One women had a massive beard! OMG!!
Worst of all is that some men actively seek these women. Takes all sorts....0
