The Body Shop sells something similar to NADS, I think it's called Sugaring or somethingI'm sure there's a home-made recipe for this, I'm off to search for it now.
I think epilators are the least painful thing if you want the hair ripped out from the root.Bulletproof0 -

i got mine from daxon at 4.99. don,t know how much they r in boots as i have not seen them there. previous thread mentions them in home bargains where they might be a but cheaper.
by the way let us know if u find a home recipe for sugaring, not 2 keen 2 use epilator on upper lip, might cause unsightly accident.
i know some people thread which seems to be quite effective as hair comes out from root. will have to learn to do this myself . i have seen people do it easily and quickly but i don,t know how to .. i beleive it comes with practice'

The name of the abrasive thingy is Alida Silkymit, available from most chemists. Haven't checked out the best price yet, though.0

What happened to good old threading and tweezers:rolleyes: Threading is very easy and quick, not as painful as waxing.
I once tweezered all the hairs off one of my legscouldn't be bothered to do the other though ... ran out of time too:rolleyes: Took about 6 weeks to grow back on one leg, and a week on the other that had been shaved :rotfl:
Would I do it again??? YES ... if I had the time!I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -

So thats why they made electric tweezers and called them epilators
For hair removel from the bikini line down I wouldnt use anything other then my epilator. One hour session and Im hair free for minimum three weeks (can get away with up to 5) without the palavor of letting it grow to a certain length before I can get it waxed, nor the inconvenience of going to the salon and best of all none of the cost0 -
Heh, once I tried plucking the bikini line, ended up with serious neckache!
I'm interested in the friction style of hair removal as my fella, as well as having lovely feet, has virtually hairless lower legs. He says it's down to always wearing boots. And of course, I noticed that the backs of my legs a quite smooth too.0
