Excel Parking - HELP should I pay the ticket?

  • I have a parking charge notice from excel from June 2012 they have been sending me letter from Roxburghe debt collectors and graham white solicitor and the fine has increased to £207 I really don't know what to do I don't want it to affect my credit score ? Please help

    jade,,surely there is more than enough info on this thread for you to realise its a SCAM and all you have is a FAKE ticket/invoice,so exactly how can it affect your credit rating,,read the stickies and as for pox(rox)burge and graham (i am deffo not a solicitor) white,,simply IGNORE,,so the job really is a belter isnt it.

    It's not a fine, and this won't cause any damage to your credit score. Stop worrying!

    Just Google 'Graham White £207.25' and read the results...lots of results of people ignoring the scam. Nothing happens.

    And Jade, please do a bit of reading for future benefit, for other things apart from parking tickets.

    Read up about how civil claims are dealt with, at what point bailiffs can come calling, CCJs and credit scores etc.

    Once you do, you won't be so worried, I promise you. And you won't fall for any silly threats from debt collectors either.

    I'm wondering how I stand legally,,I parked in Iceland car park has I do every week in Grimsby,,,,,,,I don't know why but I bought parking ticket but only put numbers in ,not letters ,thinking it was councelbparking has that's all they ask for,so was surprised to receive penalty fine of 60pounds,,, I was luck I still had the 1hour parking ticket in car ,,,luck hey,,,,,,I was only 30mins,so didntbunderstand the fine,,till I rang them and he said you didn't put full reg in,,,,,the fine was in my husbands name has he is regester keeper,,,he sent photo copy of ticket and told them he wasn't driving at the time it was his wife,,,,now there asking for proof of the driver at time,,what shall I do next

    We don't need the following to help you.
    Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

  • I parked in an excel car park in Stockport, when returning to my car after 36min I suddenly realised that I'd forgot to buy a ticket :mad: 2 weeks later I've received the £60 fine letter!!! Should I ignore as I actually didn't purchase a ticket???
