Here are the 3 steps to beat these cowboys.
1. Ignore
2. Ignore
3. Go back to step 1.
They will go away after about 5-8 letters. I had dealings with them once and followed the ignore advice and it worked. They will give up.0 -
Next time use rude vulgar abuse, if they want to be insulted, that their problem, they can always refrain from calling.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Hi,
I like the ignore, ignore ... advice but I just have one question. The 'notice to owner' type letter has a bit on the back at the bottom with a tick box saying 'I was not the Driver of the vehicle stated herein at the time the contravention occurred'. If you simply ticked that and returned the letted without saying who was would they cease the email trail of threats or would it in fact spur them on to try and find out 'who was driving'? Or is Ignore, Ignore safer0 -

Yes, just ignore. The reason they put that on there is yet another attempt at fooling people into thinking it's some sort of official document. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Thanks for that. I am almost looking forward to seeing new examples of threat letters. Knowledge is power0

I wonder if anyone can help about 1year ago I got a parking ticket for overstaying.i then started to constantly recover letters which ingnored. After all this time it has now gone upto £750 inwhich I am now being threatened with bailiffs and court if I don't pay within 7days.what shall I do?if anyone can help thanks0

The only way bailiffs can get involved is if the case goes to court, you lose and then you fail to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. As this will never go to court then you can keep ignoringWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

It's a hollow and meaningless threat/ A well-known tactic used by all private parking companies. They are called "threatograms"What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

The PPC was Excel? And the ticket was issued a year ago? Then its 100% sure fire thing you won't see the inside of a small claims court. Lest you take them for harassment and claim on that basis!Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Seek advice by clicking here: Private Parking forum on MoneySavingExpert.:j0
