No 45 here.
Things have been a bit slow on the getting money together for the %'age the last few days - the stroke makes it very hard to focus some days, and the damp and cold make me very tired quickly.:(
I have managed to get stuff together to put on e-bay. It is photographed and a description compiled, but I need to get help to download the memory stick so I can list them.
I'd already taken the photos, and the memory stick decided to go kaput on me and kept flashing up 're-input chip' on the camera, and the computer told me to format it, so it was hunt out another and start again.
I've managed to list 9 items so far from ones I had tried to sell in the past, so it's a start.
Yesterday I was asked if I'd like to do 2 school fairs next term and sell some crafting stuff I've made, and bag up some bits suitable for gift packs.:j
I'd already been offered a table at the annual village Craft Fair, which is in 8 weeks. Hopefully I'll have enough stuff ready with what I already have, so I won't need to spend more to get a good spread of goodies.I divorced my First Husband on Religious Grounds:A

Hi. Question for the cafes amongst you. DO handmade cards still sell well. I love making them and have often thought about a stall at a fete but have no idea on how many I need to make? I've loads of bits stashed away that I could use. Bit nervous about trying it though.Member 105 of 1% at a time - 23/100 :j0

Hi all and once again well done everyone on all your progress. Especially well done to all you Ebayers - I really should get into gear and take advantage of the free listings available at the moment!!! Really well done tra - 72 listings - thats amazing :T
Tra - I thought I would comment about handmade cards (but please other crafters also share your experiences as Norfolk can be a funny place (but very beautiful place xx) and my findings might just be unique to this area!!!!). At all the craft fairs I have been too there have been loads of stalls selling cards. Some like me just have a small number on display (and then have other items as well) and others have whole stalls just selling them. All seem to sell at least some and there are certain people around my area who have regular customers who just keep coming back for more. However I have found that I would not be able to cover the stall costs with just my card sales (but like I said I only display a small basket full to go alongside my other bits and bobs). My advice would be to just try it and see how you get on xxxMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Just thought I would also let you know that although I am not able to update my totals as of yet (as I have'nt paid it into the bank savings account) I have managed to raise another £210 from craft fairs this weekend (I done one of both Saturday and Sunday).
So thats another 7% waiting to be added :j
Oh and I've also been asked to another craft event in a couple of weeks time so hopefully another % or more heading my wayMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Thanks craftingmad. (just realised I put cafes instead of crafters - how funny). I did think cards on their own would be hard from what I have seen at fayres I have attended. Maybe I will experiment. My youngest starts school on Tuesday so I need something to occupy me and to keep the tears at bay.Member 105 of 1% at a time - 23/100 :j0

I'm finally off the mark thanks to ebay sales and payday  so I'm now 2% of the way to 100!
Think my evenings this week will be spent hunting down and listing as much as possible over the free listing week.
I've joined in with the NSD challenge again to try and encourage me to keep as much of my own money as possible. My aim for this month is to still be out of my little overdraft come payday, which means no charges and in turn means keeping more of my hard earned dosh. The debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Morning all. Spent the morning packaging Ebay parcels
Checked the bank, Musicmagpie hasnt paid yet, have to say, they are a bit slow!
Good news is, i have 40% in the savers now for Debt 2 :j Another 6% being transferred to the bank from ebay sales this week and hopefully 4% when music magpie pays up.
Got a fair few things listed on Ebay but still got more i need to list. Hopefully ill get chance this lunch when the youngest sleeps. Amongst my list of things ive got 2 inner tubes for road bikes that need repairing (punctures), going to see if they sell
Anyone know the best places to get nice photo frames from? im getting one for a birthday present. Budget is up to £25 and i need quite a big one.... would be good if i could have some change leftover from that
Today will mainly be spent going to the park (free!) and sorting through things i can sell or throw away, so sick of clutter!! Need to go to the post office and pay my postage for last month and nip to the shop to get myself some more cereal.
Hope everyone is having a productive, debt busting day
