Morning!
i think with Ebay its due to all the free listings ATM, maybe save your 99p things for when the free listings have stopped? And just list things that are a bit more expensive?
Child benefit has gone in today. Got a few bits to get from town today and need to see if Clarks have any bargains for shoes for the kids for my friends wedding in November. Hoping i can be sensible, i dont go to town often for this reason lol
took some pics of things i need to list on Ebay today, plan on doing it after my Doctors appt this afternoon when my friend is helping with the kids.
Need to do a Tesco shop at some point. Probably deliver thursday evening as im out thursday for lunch so i can probably manage with what i have in until then.Hoping to stock up on some tinned stuff for winter.
Well, ive got to find ways to earn/save £350 now. Thats what i need to hit 100% of Debt 2. :T Will be so nice to put the whole £700 towards my overdraft and bring it down to £2000 and under the new threshold for fees. (so we will pay £30 a month or less then as opposed to near £60)
Then ill be focusing on Debt 1 again which we are currently just paying over the minimum amount for, this is the biggie, currently the CC is at £5900 (paid 9% as it was at £6500 originally when i started this challenge). Really hoping we can get this cleared, realisitically im estimating at least 10 months from October, which puts us at August 2013. Then im estimating 4 months to clear the rest of the overdraft (£500 a month). By Jan 2014 we should only have the car loan and the bank loan to pay :T If my calculations are correct we can pay off our bank loan 2 years early in 2015. My car loan is 0% so its really the last thing on my mind so im going to just keep paying the monthly payments and take another look at finances next year i think when the CC has goneI could be debt free in 2.5 years or less. Working that out really inspires my brain but ive still not moved from my seat to find more things to sell haha!
off to write a list of how much needs paying when, i need to stick this to the back of my bedroom door (where no visitors will see!) to keep me motivated!

Hi everyone, another 1% for me today from transferring my bank account reward payment into my savings. I just looked back at my last post on the thread to find out what percentage I was at last, I got my last contribution from walking to a job interview instead of taking the bus, flashforward a month and I should have quite a few percentage to add to my total from all the overtime I'm doing!

Afternoon, where is everyone?
Well Music magpie emailed to say my money had been sent so it will be up to 3 working days until it hits the account, checked just now and its not there. Will be nearly a month since i sent things off, how slow! looking forward to transferring the 4% to my savers all the same
Sold some more bits on Ebay but need to keep some money aside for the Ebay fees (£22.75 this month, mainly from selling the expensive pram) Relisted all the things that didnt sell and got a few more things to list. 2 things are ending tonight, 1 has 3 watchers and the other has 8 watchers and 1 bid. FC they do ok, they are just maternity tops.
Off to make lunch now, im starving! Off to Costa with MIL and SIL later so not a very MSE day but MIL doesnt live close so its a rarity and the kids will love seeing their nana

Good Afternoon %ers,
Have a couple of questions today. I noticed on Litle Miss's list that tou can take scrap metal to a yard a get cash for it. Has anyone ever done this or do you know what you should expect to be paid?
Secondly, are there any companies that take drinks cans for cash. I know you can take your cans to MrT recycling centre for points, but id there anywhere else that will buy them?
Lastly, does anyone have any experience selling on eBid?0 -

We've taken stuff to scrap yard. They weigh the metal and give you a price-not sure what it is though offhand. They did pay cash though.

I don't know but I'd be interested in this too
