    No 45 back again

Made 1% (£30) this week after a poor couple of weeks due to feeling wrecked.
I sold a sizzix die for £2.50 on e-bay and 2 necklace sets for £22.50 in total.
I also found a £5 on the road outside my house and no-one around to ask if it was theirs. (is that okay to keep and count in the total?)

I've got some of my Christmas crafting stuff together from last year (and the year before, and probably from ones before that) and I'm making some kits up for e-bay. I'm also going to use some bits for the craft fair in October so I can make space, and hopefully money at the same time.

I know it's not a competition, but seeing how well everyone else is doing with hitting their percentage targets, and what they are doing to get the money, makes me determined to keep going and see it through.

The scrap yard we went to takes cabling so we took a long thick extension cable-suplus to requirements and got over 15 quid for it. Apparently they strip it for the copper and other wire in it. HTH :)

Evening. Going to list a big new, unopened baby item tonight that ive decided i dont need (an isofix car seat base), i looked online and they range from £65 -£136 new (starting auction and BIN etc) so no idea what to list it at? I bought it with a car seat for £142 on sale, should have been £255 altogether before discount.

Music magpie still hasnt credited my account yet  im sure it was a month ago i sent the Dvds/games off.

Got the last lot of maternity items for myself in the bigger size bought (just using PP funds may i add :D) So hopefully ill have enough to fit me the next 8 weeks, anything that doesnt will get relisted (currently got 5 things listed that doesnt fit that i bought last week) and hopefully once ive got my £22.75 aside for ebay fees ill have a % or 2 leftover to put towards this challenge :)

Going to use tonight 50/50, listing on Ebay for this challenge and sorting paperwork/filing for the declutter challenge on OS board :) Should involve very little movement :rotfl: Seeing as my hips are shot. Husband is working overtime til atleast midnight (so min 6/7 hours overtime)

You beat me to that :D I'd completely forgotten about the scrap yard, then when I saw topbargainhunters post I remembered about the cable! Not any use for me and my %'s at the moment, but good for my work.

All quiet on the % front today as I'll have to keep some of the money from a sale today in my paypal account to refund the buyer, and what's left isn't a percent. Nevermind, going to get listing some more to take advantage of the free listing fees, then once the item's on it's just a matter of hitting re-list if it doesn't sell :)

    Morning!

Got some Ebay parcels to wrap this afternoon and post off. Other than that not much going on today in the saving/earning department.

The husband did 12 hours overtime yesterday, on top of his 8 hour day! He didnt get in til gone 4.30am. Will be good for the ol' bank balance next month though!

Still on the look out for a nice photo frame for my friends birthday, might do another search online whilst the kids are occupied. Seen a nice one actually but it was £15 over budget so holding out for a nice, cheaper one :o

  • Hi all got lots of items ending on 3bay this weekend, and have decided to list some clothes as they all seem to sell really well (evans, simply be etc) so hopefully I should be able to make another 1% once this weekend is over if I try really really really hard, what is everyone elses plans for this weekend? x

I've just logged into paypal and seen that I've gone over a % in there so paid my ebay fees and withdrawn 1%. Apparently they're doing faster payments now? Last time a few days ago I had to wait 2-3 working days but this time they said it should be in there withing 2 hours. Very strange, made me a little paranoid thinking that they must be taking money out of my bank account!

Just checked - cash is in there and has been transferred - so

Afternoon! Its mine and the husbands 1st wedding anniversary today and so far we have spent £21 on lunch out. Went to a free farm with the kids (was rubbish) and spent some time in the garden. We are going out for our evening meal later so not sure how much that will be as we go to a gorgeous place that is on the dearer side but when food is concerned, quality comes first, especially when its a rarity we go out and enjoy ourselves.

Sold some more maternity bits, £30 worth yesterday but need to keep the PP in the account until the Ebay fees have gone out.

Still no music magpie and didnt get chance to trasnfer the £42 from ebay selling as we had to buy a few more packs of tiles for our kitchen floor as id miscalculated by 3 packs (30 tiles) :o oops!

Our current % of debt 2 is 40% (Still hoping i can find a further £70 by the end of the month to put us at 50%), Not doing anything today with it being our anniversary but will relist anything that doesnt sell today before the free listing ends.

Happy Wedding Anniversary to you both.
Even though the farm was rubbish at least it was free

I'm still waiting for my welcome pack thing from music magpie.
We don't often go out so on friday we went for an Italian meal-it was on the expensive side but it was excellent. :)
I've got to sort out some stuff to sell to try and turn my negative %wise into a positive. :)
