Well still no progress here (will be the end of the month until I know if I can afford another 1% and I still haven't listed any more stuff on ebay/gumtree), but I have started writing an ebook..... I don't think I'll ever make any money (not the attitude, I know, but probably realistic
) but if nothing else it will provide me with a useful resource. Not sure how long it will take me to finish but when it is finished I guess I'll be looking for advice here on the next steps!!
Keep it up you're all doing so well :T
Well done for getting started on the ebook. Here's a few publishing resources that might be useful:

Hi every one, first ever post but after reading this thread I just had to join.
I have £2000 on student overdraft, interest free for another 12 months and £250 on a credit card @ 19.9%, hoping to have this all paid off and cancelled by the end of the month. Would love for it if I could pay it all off before pay day on the 25th so then I can make some contributions to my parents living expenses (currently have free room and board although I have been warned that this will only last until end of Sept) and make dents on the overdraft.
So I would like my 1% to be £23 please.
Currently at 0% but this thread did inspire me to reopen all my survey sites and check for £32 ($50) on its way.
Next job to do is sort out all my old mobile phones, I still have the boxes and chagers so just going to unlock them before finding them a new home.1% at a time challenge member #127

Hello all,
This is also my first post! Again I just had to join - I think this challenge is just what I need to get myself focused. I would like to aim to clear the evil CC 1 asap (although it might seem a bit back to front to try and tackle my largest debt first its the one Im most behind with and causes me the most stress) so my 1% is £75. I have things to ebay and might try to recliam some bank charges as a way of making a start. Good luck everyone x0 -

Stick with it! I'll buy a copy & I'll tweet it out too!
I think the easiest way I've seen to sell digital products (ebooks, images, songs etc) online is with Gumroad. (Gumroad.com)
You upload your file & set a price. Gumroad gives you a web link which you can tweet, facebook, share however you like.
Anytime people click the link it takes them directly to your sales page where they can pay for the product. Then Gumroad e-mails the customer with a link to download your ebook.
You get paid direct into your bank account at the end of each month.0 -
Yes, I always pay my ebay fees when it gets up to a certain amount-in fact, I often round it up so I end up in credit of a couple of pounds. I hardly ever wait for the invoice to arrive.
ooooh no, i didnt know this! Off to gander now to pay it. Thanks :beer:DFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022

Afternoon!
Well Debt 1 is having some money put towards it this month, im counting it now as its due within the week and it will be going straight on the CC. Its £100 from my premium bonds. So debt 1 will be nearing 11% i think. We've just been paying minimum payments so dont think ive shaved much off just paying that but this £100 will bring 1.54% :j
Debt 2 is a steady 40% BUT we may actually be able to pay off the entire 100% October 1st :T Thanks to all the husbands overtime!
Got some ebay items ending tonight, 1 has a bid of £3.20 on it but the rest havent had much interest. Got about 6/7 maternity items to list today (didnt get round to it yesterday) So must take pics of those!

well so far this month i have paid off 27.4%
275(a loan to my brother I wasnt expecting to see back until 2013) and 54 (pay from a delivery job)
sold a couple of bits on ebay 11.34(will make it up to 12.00) so another 1% to come
and another delivery job done expecting 76.60 in the next 3weeks so another 6% to come
This challenge makes it such more manageable. This particular cc I am concentrating on is on 0% until Feb but hoping to get rid by Xmas so I can move onto the next debt which is my car loan. My loan has 31 months left but I'm aiming to clear it asap (my bank allows overpayments) so I can start to enjoy my disposable income again0 -
Im up to 35% with the car fund! Getting there!
Will do some calculations tomorrow for the other % for the debts!
Had a wee holiday home so feeling motivated to go up a gear now!Waste not, want not!
Slow and steady wins the race!0
