A belated Happy Birthday Little Miss Uni-Debt

I haven't made any % yet, so I'm just going through the thread now making a list of the different ways I can make 1%.

Edit - Do you guys count savings towards your % or just extra money you make?

I'm gonna change my target for now, as my debt it 0% so it can wait.

My new target is £1000 for a car, so 1% is £10

I count anything at all towards my 1%. Once I'm working again (hopefully sept) The majority of my 1%'s will probably come out of my wages. Trying to think of other ideas to tide me over until then.... HTH
    1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

  • Another 1% this morning as husband was given some vouchers. So that is now 3%! yay.
  • Happy Happy Friday everyone!

It's a tough one this week. I've done LOTS of work and completed quite a few of my tasks however it's all yet to snowball back to me yet!

Just waiting for confirmation of delivery & feedback for ebay items before I cash out the money.

PPI could be returned - that would be a nice surprise.

So this week I have paid off 2.5% (but I've a further 4% owed to me)

I'm quite pleased with my efforts at raising a 6.5% week, now I just can't wait to get my hands on the 4% cash so I can push it to my cards.

Also, my jobs on fivesquids have been approved - might get a few writing tasks through that!

I've also done overtime this week with might be another 0.5% next week!

2.5 % paid of is a great amount, I've only managed 2% overall so far, but every bit helps, have so money to come from ebay, and have lots more items to list so that'll help.

Food wise, it's worth taking a look at approved foods, they sell foos that's near or past it's best before date, very cheap, I've had some good bargins.

    mmmm pasta bake :D

Caught up with this thread last night to see it's really moved on! Thanks for adding me to the list of participants Little Miss, I've just been working out my debt and I have £2236.44 on my credit card and I'm also overdrawn. Now the amount I'm overdrawn varies by what's happening that month and whereabouts in the month we are, so I've had a look at the past few months and each month it tends to reach about £450 :(. I've added that to my CC debt and the total is £2686.44, so 1% of that is £26.86 but I'm going to round it up to £27 to make it easier to work out.

Putting this in colour so you don't miss it - my 1% is £27. :)

As I've got an overdraft to pay off, my plan is to make a regular DD to the credit card while trying to earn extra money to pay off my OD. Then once the OD is gone, all extra money can go to the CC. I'll update again once I've made a payment to the CC.
