Question for those of you who do surveys: What sites are you on? How much time per week do you spend on them? Roughly how much a month do you 'earn'? I am considering doing this but can't decide if its worht my while? I'm pretty sure I signed up for a load a few years back & didn't stick with it long enough to ever get anything.....

liz-paul, I'd suggest being loyal to a smaller number of survey sites so that you hit voucher payouts sooner and feel motivated to keep surveying.

Hey LizPaul - this is what I replied earlier:
Well I was new to Dooyoo this year plus then later joined Ciao - got £40 of vouchers form Dooyoo plus £50 into bank - plus have another £33 odd stored there - so over £120. I also have £61 coming from Ciao - so definitely worth it if you put the effort in.
Doing two sites you can use the same reviews probably on both it they both have the items listed. You have to do reviews and rate back - pretty much for the same amont of time I would say.
I am no expert but would try adn do a review every other day - or every day is better. But it depends on your time and what you have at home to review - and sometimes I have only done it once a week.
Some reviews have bigger rewards - usually tech stuff like phones and cameras etc - but I tend to do general stuff like shower gels and teabags.
So far I have done over 180 reviews on Dooyoo and 144 on Ciao but have rated back over 9000 on Dooyoo so you do need to do a little often.

I would rather have chocolate than real food!:D

Was reading a rather boring module for my studies about wastage. Well the MSE in me had an 'ear pricking up' moment when I read that 61% of food chucked out could of been used with better food management. Which equals about £450 a year for the average family of wastage! That's over 10% of the money I want to save for a car if I carried this out!

This weekend we have sorted through all our clothes and have a bag for eBay, two bags for charity and a bag for the bin (is there a place we can be paid by the kilo for the material instead of throwing it away?). We get broadband on Wednesday so will be eBaying a heap of things!
Have £50 cashback from broadband on its way as well.

Well yesterday I listed over £100 worth of stuff on gumtree so fingers crossed I get a few sales there. I am also up to nearly £3 on dooyoo so as long as I can think of enough stuff in my house to review I am going to try and get another 1% (£80) from dooyoo by xmas. Not too tricky to write a few reviews while watching TV.

Also have received £240 in to the bank today for my scrap gold which is another 3% so I'm going to colour those squares today :D

My current total is now at 4% - not a huge amount but it would still be at zero without this thread - so thanks everyone
