Has anyone got any experience of selling to CEX/webuy.com? I have a stack of DVDs to send them and am considering selling my Wii and stuff to them as well. Just wondering if A. You get a better price instore or is the same as online? And B. Are they likely to offer me less once they have my stuff due to damage they claim is there? Thanks!

I've reached my second 100% and I'm sooo happy - before this thread I would never have thought that I would have been able to contribute £5k to the savings account in just over 1 year but I have and I'm very proud of myself and this thread - thank you everyone :T:T:T:T:T

So time for target number 3 me thinks - As I almost added £5k in 2012 I have decided to aim for another £5k in savings by the end of 2013 so my new 1% is £50.

I've already started by adding a few swagbuck points to my account today and I have a chicken stew in the slow cooker ready for dinner tomorrow (as we are working on the BTL house all day tomorrow and thought this would save on take away costs :D)

Well done everyone on all of your %'s xxx

I have also got massive mound of DVDs/games to send to music magpie (£106.92 worth but £90 of it is my brothers).
I have also got a uniform tax rebate of £16.53, I know it's not a lot but it all helps right??
I have 2 things listed on eBay and I have 2 broken laptops to list when the hard drives have been taken out!!

  • Thanks everybody for the well wishes regarding my sons mobility benefits, it really is going to make a difference.

craftingmad :T Well done, you are inspiring!

Well, my ebay auctions have ended and minus fee's and postage I have enough to pay a 1%, so I'm going to transfer that into my bank account now and make another payment onto my credit card. So thats takes me to 8%. I am going to do a happy dance when I reach 10%!!

Listed 4 more ebay items tonight and have plenty more to list tomorrow.

Evening everyone (or is it technically morning now!)

Well done embirch on breaking the 10% and on reaching the 50% on debt 3 happytails

I'm on the ebay listing kick too teaandcakeaddict hoping for good sales for you! Nearly a third of the way there tiggy10 Every little certainly helps marshy1985 this challenge has really got me watching the pennies now as well as the pounds!

liz-paul I've no experience with selling to cex/webuy either but would love to know peoples experiences too.

I had 2 ebay items sell tonight, had to reinvest some of the profits into packaging for the mound that's in the process of being sorted ready for sale. Another 11 items finishing tomorrow, lots with bids and I've just listed another 11 tonight!

I really need to get this ppi claim put in, if I do get anything back at all from it it would be rather nice :)

Edited to add: I've set myself a target of paying off 7% this month, I've managed 1% so far so just 6 needed in 3 weeks!

I really like the idea of this. Can anyone tell me how to get involved please?
