Wow, wow & triple wow! Firstly, I'd like to say just how much you have all blown me away with your support, ideas and ethusiasm - which frankly has kept me on my toes & moving forward better than anything has ever before! :pThank You
I will of course now do our usual update...
We have had 24 updates and 17 special new joiners that have kindly de-lurked and helped us to blitz our target of 200.
We are now at a cozy 211 percenters strong. So much so we are busting outa the list on page 1 (had to re-jig the text to fit us all in!) I think some countries have smaller armies! :rotfl:
This means when I win the lottery & throw a party for us all, the village hall won't cut it anymore, I'm keeping the 02 arena on standby :D
Please say a big 'Hello' to our new folks that have started the year in style - with the right kind of new addiction!

    **Year End Stats**

As a total Excel fiend, I like working out numbers and I wanted to get some interesting insights into the updates we've all been posting.
I think it helps me best when I put money into context. Just like the 1% idea as a whole, it's all pie in the sky until you compare what you're spending with a manageable & meaningful figure. Then it hits home & creates motivation.
I hope these stats can put into context just how much we have achieved as a whole! Frankly, I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor.

Yes, that's right. Over eighty four thousand pounds either paid or saved. :T:T:T Crazy right? That's like an entire mortgage or several new cars. As a group our 1% is a mere £5264.76!! Pocket change huh, no sweat :p. Which means we're collectively at 16%. Those are hefty figures we've pulled in. You all should be super proud.
Please keep on suggesting your ideas, the list will hopefully continue to grow.
Love you all, your support is really appreciated & totally awesome.

WOW, all I can think is thats 84k NOT in the greedy hands of credit card companies, loan sharks and Payday loans. :T:T:T:T:T.

Children Tax credit paid me a week early today, so I made a extra £300 payment off Littlewoods catalogue this morning.
That officially takes me to 5% paid off and have only been doing it a couple of weeks :j:j
I had great fun colouring in two more of my little boxes.

Roll on 2013, I am gonna use up all the ink in my pink felt tip pen colouring in my boxes:rotfl:

Thanks so much Little Miss for all the stats, very interesting reading. thank you so much for inspiring us

Good Afternoon and Happy 2013 everyone!!!

I hope you all had a lovely New Years :)

So I went through my spreadsheets yesterday and did some re-jigging so we can use it more effectively. I then redid the snowball calculator to give us motivation for that debt free date.

    Number 99
    Total Credit Card Debt @ 31st December 2012: £13,859.46
    New 1%: 138.59

We're aiming for a debt free debt this year between September and December and it's all because of this challenge

Thank you so much Little Miss x

Well ebay sales are going well for me this week compared to December. Have 25 items ending tomorrow so keeping my fingers crossed that I can make maybe 2% out of that. Although very skint this month so it could end up having to pay for a different debt instead to make my monthly minimums. But it all helps I suppose! (I've picked only one debt for my 1% challenge this year).

Right, need to update my signature.
