For weight loss threads try the old style board (for old style weght loss methods) or the health & beauty (can't remember exact name but I think its a subsidiary of the moneysaving in families/relationships board). Last time I looked they seemed to have threads for every method of weight loss there.1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Happy new year!
I've been awol from mse since mid october, work got so busy in the run up to christmas that I've not had the chance to get anything extra done. Sitting on 8% paid which is more than I would've been at if it hadn't been for this thread!
Next mini aim is for another 3% as that will take my total debt below the ten grand for the first time in, well I can't actually remember when I was less than 10kThe debtWILLbegone - taking it 1% at a time

Happy New Year All!
Thanks to LMUD I now have my number #197, and I'm sure it helps keep up the momentum being official and contributing to this great thread.
Been quiet on saving front what with Xmas and all that, but going to get back into it this weekend and have a couple of things I want to get on Ebay or Gumtree that I didn't manage last year. This week got a bit lost with the odd emergency at home, the missus was ill and I had to look after the kids Wed/Thu, then the little one (15 months) managed to fall downstairs last night, not sure how far as no-one saw her (think my eldest left the stair gate open) but from the Eastenders theme tune I heard it was only about 3 steps, but ended up in A&E last night until 2am! But got the all clear, and she didn't seem too bothered. Let's hope this isn't a sign of things to come in 2013, as my boiler seems to be losing pressure now! But still covered by warranty, so shouldn't cost anything thankfully.
But positive thinking and all that, and I think we'll be back on track this weekend.
Good luck to everyone for 2013! Keep those 1%s coming in!'1% at a time' Member - #197
