Lionbridge sent me application so that has gone in (fingers crossed), have been researching ways to make money on youtube and my video content appears to be a good idea so I just need to work out how to add and make videos now. Put 5 old ink cartridges on fleabay so hopefully they will sell, taken on some more tutors for next term so that should increase revenue a bit too. All in all looking good so far.
  • LMUD - Fantastic figures! Really pushes me on to achieve my aim reading everyone else's progress too!

I've not listed on eBay for most of December but managed to sell some Buy it now items over the Christmas period.

Will be pushing on with eBay once I've finished my Three Uni assignments at the moment! :o

I've decided that any vouchers I earn through surveys will go in a pot towards Christmas next year instead of counting as part of my percentage.

We had some money from family at Christmas which my husband and I decided to put towards the 1% challenge instead of spending! This is a BIG Baby step forward for us

    Also would like to update!

Yep ! It's in debt free diaries now for some reason ??!!

Anyway, listed 15 99p items on eBay yesterday evening and got 2 bids so far :j hoping to list another 15 tonight, not sold anything on fb the past 2 days despite my best efforts so behind on my target, so far earned £18 in 5 days, putting debt 3 @ 2% :T though I was hoping for about 5% never mind! 2% is better than nothing!

  • Hi guys and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to pop in to see you all and have a catch up.

I haven't sent anything so far this year to Next, despite 3 out of 4 alcohol free nights as things are a little tight here and don't want to cripple the Bank Account when the D/Ds are due. It's soooo frustrating  as I know I'd be at 70% this morning but OH is self employed and things are quiet at the moment, so we're relying on my meagre income to scrape by.

    Enough of that though.

Thanks LMUD for the stats - majorly impressed here I can tell you! and congratulations everyone :T

Welcome to all newbies just joining us - you're in for great time, believe me.

I'm gonna think of a 1% Club Debt Free Song - the first one that springs to mind is "Down, Down, Deeper and Down", but feel free to throw suggestions into the pot and we can maybe sing it to ourselves whenever we feel elated/deflated and need that extra zing. :rotfl: This idea came from an episode of Ally McBeal many moons ago when a cast member was visiting a Psychiatrist (Tracey Ullman) and she told them to have a motivational song in their heads to carry around when they needed a pickmeup. The song was "She's Fresh, Fresh, Exciting" by Kool and the Gang, and I still sing it to this day when walking down the street - it really makes me smile. Okay, I'm weird! I'll get back in my cupboard under the stairs now (maybe find something to Ebay in there!) :rotfl:

    Have a great day folks

Love this idea - can't get that song out of my head now - all together down, down ......

The only one I can come up with is Robbie's "She's the One" - nowhere near as good as yours but it did entertain me for a good few minutes thinking of it (this also stopped me spending any money on stuff I really did'nt need so big thanks :D)

Not much to report from me today except I've had a NSD today (that's 4 this month already :j:j) so that's £20 to transfer over from the account very soon - and another 1% to add shortly :j

I wanna be a billionaire by travie McCoy and Bruno mars.

'I wanna be a billionaire so so bad, buy all of the things I never had' (after getting out of debt of course lol)

Another 99p bid on eBay today :)
