  • Realised I'd miscalculated and after scraping a bit extra cash together - I've made it up to 19%... with another 2% to go off on January 01st!

Starting the New Year at 21% cleared!!!

That really is ALL my spare cash gone now!!! :o DeterminedDiva - now you'll have to work extra hard to hit 21% too :D

  • Hi everyone, hope you're all sorted for Christmas? I work in a supermarket meat aisle so as you can probably guess my work is never ending at the moment. I have no spare time and I will probably groan on Christmas day when I see the pigs in blankets that I'm currently in a never ending fight to stock up, but in my January payslip I will be just a little bit closer to my goal from all the overtime - especially on the customary holidays!

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas.
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Hey everyone, just checking in with 93%, nearly there and the next time i have time to go to the bank during its opening hours i think i will be done :D. (well until i get my ISA sorted and i can set a savings challenge).

Its been pay day but have not been paid for my new job so next month should be bumper :D.

Still hoping to hit my NSD target of 20 days but i have definately overspent. I was perhaps a little unrealistic setting £100 but never mind. It was a challenge budget and not the maximum spends so will still be pretty happy if i can keep it under £130.

Plan on utilising my free gym membership with work now i only work there at weekends, my new job during the week is literally across the road but the times i work are perfect for me to go and still make it home for tea :). Will be working 47.5 hours a week over all 7 days.

Hmmmmm that reminds me i have to be at work for 7.30am tomorrow so best go and get my beauty sleep!!! :rofl

wGlad to hear you're ok now Sarah - that must have been pretty scary.

Not much debt busting going on here due to Crimbo and a very long gap between now and next payday sadly.

Thanks for the heads up about the next free listing weekend. I'll keep an eye out for that and relist everything that didn't sell last time and maybe list a few more dresses that I planned on keeping for some reason but I can't see myself wearing them now, it was just for the memories they held I kept them. Then its onto the next load of big items to go on there

39 days til payday eek! We got paid less too as didn't do much overtime in December! Gonna have to really plan for next month!

Ideas? We weekly meal plan and shop weekly (we get all fresh meat/veg and very little dry/tinned stuff. Gonna keep an eye on the petrol in both cars (my bus is a guzzler ), will put off zumba/pilates til feb, was going to start back up but they're £5 each so £40 a month!

eBay like crazy I think hahaha!

  • Number 23 here. Up to 33% which includes £5.99 from User testing, thanks so much for the tip. Shame it can't be gone by the end of the year but I'd just end up in my over draft by the end of Jan.

    Happy Christmas

Glad to hear you are well again happytails - that must have been scary.

I've not sent any percentages to my debts for a couple of weeks as money is need for the Christmas pot right now but I will get back on track as soon as the clock strikes New Year.

We've been out tonight with friends and their families which was lovely and we have more friends coming to stay this week and then again for 4 days over New Year, so I expect that there will be many bottles of wine and beer to purchase.

I'm going to declare my amounts now to meet the Christmas Eve deadline.

Thanks for starting this up LMUD
