Hi all,
I've not posted for ages but I have been following the thread. Everyone is doing fantastically and welcome to the new members!
I just got an email from Music Magpie saying they now accept clothes, it's the usual free post thing like it s now with CD's etc. not sure how much they pay & if its any better or worse than the cash 4 clothes places. Any one know any more?
Might be a nice easy way to boost %'s although I'm sure you'd possibly get more at a car boot if it ever stops raining!
Merry Christmas & a happy new year to you all.
Looking forward to being back in control of finances again! :-)0 -
Hi, I'd love to join this challenge in the new year. I haven't added up my total debt yet, I'll get it done next week. I think my debt has creaped back up to around £8,000. In 2010 I claimed back PPI and ebayed everything I could and managed to reduce my debt by a lot. The household income has also reduced since then, so I think the majority of my debt payments will be made from trying to save money on minimising my expenses. Could kick myself for losing focus on it, I was getting so close to being debt free.Debt 2010 £20,544.07. 2011 £9,617.63. 2012 £5,625.07.2013 £7,986.12Sealed Pot Challenge #899 2010 £173. 2011 £13. 2012 £223.0

Hi all,
Been a bit sparse this week, was admitted to hospital Weds with suspected post partum haemorraghing but it turned out to be retained placenta that had gotten infected as obviously its not supposed to be there! Hellish day but im right as reign now
Cost me £6 in vending machine food on a&e as i had no breakfast as got rushed off before. £2.20 in parking (mum came in car) and then £13 in post office fees cause i was supposed to send something courier that day for £12 and cause i missed it had to post office the damn thing first class for £25 to get it there before Xmas  So a rather expensive day. Oh and Husband had to take the day off to look after the kids.
Means ive not got much to put towards the Debts yet. Hoping i can still put 1% to debt 1 (£65) but ATM its not looking too likely..Hmmm/
