Hi everyone,
Well I have just finished my last craft fair of 2012
Yesterday I made £50 and today just under £100 (£98) so that's good, plus as I will not be doing anymore fairs until February (although more likely April time) I have all but emptied my float tin so now have a further £215 cash in total waiting to be paid in. I also used a £5 argos voucher off something the other day so am going to add this too.
Once I get to pay the the money in tomoroow I will be able to declare a further 11% :j:j
Only another 14% (£285) to go until my second 100% is reached

I've been buying, wrapping presents and finishing of cards so now feel less stressed and am looking forward to Christmas now.
have spent more money than I should have not by much but most of it was reduced anyway so pleased with what I have.
On the bright side one of the presents has given me a good idea for
a business idea so will do some research into how feasible it could be .
I'm looking forward to 2013 and tackling these debts I think with the support of these threads and all you wonderful people on them I can do it.
hope everyone has a good evening

I've just parceled up my HM bath products ready to go into hampers.
Costs
HM Soap = 14 bars = 10P PER BAR
Costs
pack of 4 £1.20
honey £1.20 used 1tbsp = 1/10th 12p
dried milk £1.00 used 1/8th of the pack = 12p.
I already had rest of ingredients of oatmeal and lavender oil in stock from ages ago
Bath melts
oils £3.95 x 3 - used half a bottle of each = £5.92
Sweet almond oil = £2.50
Cocoa butter £8.09 for 500g
Made 44 = 38p PER MELT
Bath Salts
Dead Sea Salt - £10 for 2kg
Epsom Salt - £5
Dried Milk - 1/3rd pack used 33p
Oils - one bottle equivalent £3.95
Cost per 500ml jar x 10 jars = 1.93 per jar
cost per hamper - £10.55 per hamper - very pleased with the total cost and looks very good for a tenner using up jars and bottles already had in, presentation bags had for 3yrs and oils also had for 3yrs
Now I know its not all about money making but in this case some money saving for gifts instead of spending £20 per person in a well known high street for bath products and getting 3 one off bath things as oppposed to a full hamper with plenty of bath productsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi all! I'd like to join for 2013 as well. I've also been lingering for a few months but have just been so busy I haven't felt ready to start the challenge. But from 1st January I am in!
My debt is pretty big so I am going to focus on one credit card and get that cleared. I had a meeting with a financial advisor at the bank this weekend who was very helpful. I got declined on refinancing to put all my debts into one but he is going to appeal it with their head office (fingers crossed there!) but his advice was to work on this one credit card first and then move on to my next lowest credit card debt as that way I would reduce myself down to only one credit card quicker which will help me get another mortgage in a few years time.
So enough of me blabbering on, I must get to the point!
So the credit card has a balance of £1800 so that makes my 1% £18 which sounds nice and manageable. I think I will aim to get to 50% paid off of this by the end of 2013 and any extra would be a bonus. I have so many other repayments that 50% sounds most realistic.
Now to think of how to make my first 1%!0 -
Just a quick update as I have just transferred the £220 so:-

It's official - Ebay is driving me insane! To those of you that list millions of items, I salute your staying power. Phew!
It keeps crashing every time I try to list anything, grr!. **aaaand relax**
I have sold my computer though - it's an expensive one so it makes a big difference to my percents!!! Just sticking to my laptop for now.
I've got so many little things I'm wondering whether it would be best to do a car boot this weekend. Do you think they will be still on with it being like 2 days before Christmas???
Just want to get SOMETHING for them to free up space.
My plan for the next 24 hours is...
Send my computer out by courier
Wrestle with ebay & list 5 items of moderate value
Lug a mountain of coins to pay into the bank
Pop to CashConverters to see if they'll give me a price for my guitar
Get a price for a broken gold necklace from the gold shop.
Scrabble round for at least 50 items to take to the car boot
Hoping that will add upto an extra 16% cleared and a bunch of space too.0 -
£10 off a friend today :j
Last eBay items ending today, only 3, 1 at 99p so far, 1 at £10.50 and one with no interest. That's it til new year!
Will be paying eBay then withdrawing the rest for debt 1 :j

The "biggie" is yet to come back, which is the credit card.
I might even treat Mrs.O to a cake this evening.0 -
