Right I'm going to be productive this weekend as I've loads of stuff for eBay so will take the photos of it all this weekend and try to get it on for the next no insertion fee weekend which will hopefully be soon.
Glad to see everyone is progressing nicely. I have been putting away my £4.00 for not smoking and now have £28.00 which means I have nearly 6% already just need to transfer it from the savings account to the CC.
Keep up the good work everyone x0 -
Hey everybody,
just checking in, i was on 59% and have now transferred another 14% to make 73%:T
Hit my target for the end on Nov and already have another 3-4% in the pipeline.
Also there is a new challenge for December: the December Debt Destruction if anyone fancies joining me? Its ambitious but it might be just what we need. I know the vending machine spends have been creeping up on me.
Target is now 100% complete by the end of Jan. Then I can have a savings target1% at a time challenge member #127

hi there!
I have been following this thread for a while and have put a 1% spreadsheet together and am already working through it well - 6.3% this month!
Please can you add me to the challenge? My total debt was £7403.13 making 1% a payment of £74.03. I have achieved 6.3% so far.
Hoping to be an active part of this community
Thanks

Hi folks! I have been clearing out all my cardmaking stuff & I am going to get rid of a load of it & I was wondering if anyone thinks it is worth trying to sell on ebay? It's just bits & pieces - cost me a fortune but not worth owt 2ndhand probably. Or I could jsut give it to my sons school for collage etc....1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

defintely try ebay first!!
Im hoping to sift through my ebay box today/tomo and take pics of things i havent already taken pics of ready for next free listings weekend.
I'm also going to design/buy nice wee notelets that im going to put with every xmas gift this year explaining that next year we wont be buying for adults, just kids and that we dont expects presents off anyone either. This is part of my plan to save money next year and reduce wasteI will then start prepping for birthdays next year (writing out whose birthdays are when and how many male/female/kids cards ill need then a visit to the card factory for their 7 for £1 cards
) Then hoping to get alot of gifts in the January sales if im organised enough by then!! Will take a massive strain off next year and also will satisfy my bargain hunting gene :rotfl:
Trying to think of other things i can do for next year to reduce the monthly outgoings so we can put more money towards our debts...Hmm.

Liz-Paul.
I've sold quite a lot of crafty odds and ends on e-bay.99% have sold. Got rid of a lot of Christmasy stuff last month.
Have some spring/Easter items to get rid off but waiting until the new year.
Baby card making items have gone well in the past,as have cross stitching items.
Hope this helps.ilovetea xxMake £2024 in 2024 £1161.08
