Have you tried delivering, junk mail! I recenly joined a company, where you deliver a certain phone book, and made almost £500 in 1 week  good exercise as well!0

Good for you Elaine - son tried this once but being in rural area was a nightmare of distances to cover and he got well and truely cheesed off - and he never had anythng near £500. Als very bad for car suspension whn they were all collected form the drop-off point.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

I could possibly deliver phone books or newspapers, I don't think I could bring myself to do leaflets as I get so many myself. It would feel disheartening as I know most go straight in the bin.
Not heard back off the part time job yet so keeping an eye out for others that are just a few hours per week.0 -
Right I am in. £38 I'm aiming for. I mean that is my 1%, I'm not looking for 100 ways to make 38p....
I think we need some more ideas on the front page of this thread, lets get it up to 100. Thinking cap is on.0 -

I love this thread!
There has been some great advise already. I especially like DooYoo - took me about an hour to write my 5 reviews but I can get much quicker, I was just enjoying myself!
I'm more of a large chunk payment girl so I may not be breaking down by £5 all the time, but the ideas are all great.0 -
Paying off 1% of debt at a time is a brilliant idea - well done Little Miss
. I'm in a similar situation to you in that I got my debt way down to the point where I only had around 1k left to pay, then built it up again in a moment of stupidity  . I currently have around £2,600 to pay off on credit card/overdraft, so 1% is only £26. I say only, because I have so little spare that it's all I can do currently to pay the £25 DD I have set up for the CC.
I'm noting down the ideas for making a bit extra to throw at my debt and I've got one to add. A few weeks ago I heard about Clothes For Cash, who pay 60p per kilo for unwanted clothes, shoes etc. I sent off for a bag to fill, had a massive clear out and filled the bag which was then collected. Today I received an email saying a cheque for £15.60 is in the post, so that will go towards the CC :T . If you've got clothes you no longer need it's something to consider.0 -

I love making handmade presents & hampers. I'm not too good at cardmaking but I would like to be. I hope your list is coming on well!
Hey Hummingbird, Congrats on getting back into it! You're doing great on your £15 a day in June challenge! What stuff did you do???
Fae - I'm SO looking forward to it! I've got a feeling it's going to be a good first week total. Just looking across my spreadsheets and I've done more than I've thought!
Hi Little Miss, it was mainly overtime at work, which is what most of my "so much extra per day" has been. I also had some from Topcashback. I used to do Amazon but have swapped to ebay - haven't listed anything on there for a couple of months though so need to get back in gear!
By the way, I have now decided on the best one of my debts to tackle first on the 1% plan - it's my Barclaycard - just under £8000 outstanding so I'll make the payments £80.00 each, like you are doing.
I'm going to get a sheet of paper and divide it up into 100 squares, then I can colour in a square each time I get a percent paid off! Have to make it fun, don't we??!:rotfl:£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Well my goal is £14100. £141=1%
I have £240 saved-not sure what the percentage is-I know it's more than 1 and less than 2 but not sure how to work it out.
I've sorted it-I've paid £41 off the debt and saved another £1 so I'm now on 2%GE 36 *MFD may 2043
