£500 limit here as well. Will be very useful me thinks considering my AA card cashback has just changed from 1% to 0.5% since I cancelled the vehicle recovery cover.
I'm thinking the £500 limit is probably a ceiling to stop you spending too much in the first month.
I now have 25% of my gross annual salary as my credit card limit (split over 4 cards as I had 3 before applying for this one). When do you normally get refused for further credit? 35%?0 -
Hmmm.. Aqua -> QuoVadis -> Partnercards -> Halifax Bank of Scotland PLC.
Hey, Halifax are the people who declined me a clarity card last month!0 -
My current card of choice is a Santander 123 as I'm a member of staff I don't pay the £24 annual fee. About £120 of my monthly spend is on fuel, so my plan is to keep the 123 card in the car and ONLY use it for fuel, then to use this Aqua card for everything else. My monthly spend on everything else is usually about £250, which means there's a little bit of scope for other spends as the cashback on this Aqua card is capped at £100 or £3,300 annual spend/ £275 monthly spend is it not?0

Nice One Kyresa, will keep my fingers crossed for you. Did you ever get a limit increase on your Granite Card? I remember a few months ago, we seemed like the only ones in the UK that hadn't had an increase, lol. I got mine in March £250 to £1000. Nice to know its there but so is the whopping APR! Needless to say it never gets anywhere near that spent on it.0

Nope, never got an increase. And now I've got a rate reducing card with the same limit, the Granite can go on the shelf as far as I'm concerned0 -
