Hi Deborah .... I hope that we all get a refund as there is nothing worse than seeing a great offer and being disappointed and am sure we all feel very short changed ! It is sooo TRUE what they say if a deal is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE it usually isSurely looking at the previous posts you can see that we have" issues". No way were these plants worth £100, even if they had been in first class condition.
The plants were not as ordered, they were all trailing basket plants, mine were in a knocked about state, even after leaving them for 48Hours, watered,and sheltered in my greenhouse, lots of them were still in a poor condition, and are not fit to be planted out in the garden. In fact i have had to throw quite a few away.
I rang VM customer services and told them to remove me from their mailing and e-mail lists as i would never order from them again.0 -
I didn't realise that van meuwen was part of T&M, otherwise I would never have let my OH order these.
Now it all makes sense.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I too am extremely dissapointed at the plug plants I recieved. I was expecting border plants I think there is a clear case of mis representation on this offer and that we should continue to complain until we get a full refund and hopefully stop this sort of practice in the future!0

I've had an email back today from Van Meuwen to say they will refund and I haven't sent them back ... that wasn't worth the hassle!
I'll let you know when I actually receive the refund and whether it's for the full amount.0 -
Got mine a week ago through the post.
Forty plug plants of different varieties.
Pretty sorry state to be honest, bought new pots for them all and carefully planted them as instructed, left them indoors on window ledge to settle.
At least 50% look like they have had it.
My first foray into the plant world and probably my last.0 -

Having seen Deborah's message, I sent her an email Fri 22 June. Got a helpful reply by return. Got an email from VM Customer Care first thing Monday morning saying a refund was on its way. Brilliant result and terrific service from Deborah and team Martins Money.0 -
What was the original offer for, my OH bought it, so I'm not sure.
Wasn't it for 40 border plants? Didn't say anything about trailing?
I've just been delivered about half trailing plants. To be fair, they're not in bad condition and about the size I was expecting, I'm not complaining there, just I have rather alot of trailing plants and no baskets....Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
