Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

Use moneyfactscompare.co.uk rather than MSE. Much better, easier to use and more information. Make sure you have accounts listed by rate to get all best rates first5

MSE seems to focus on two types of ISA - easy access and fixed rate - and doesn't highlight any limited access ISAs. There are a few others out there (I've got ones with Skipton and Principality) that have decent rates but I've never seen them mentioned on MSE.wallofbeans said:Hi again all,
I am just wondering why some of the top cash ISAs aren't on the MSE list? I am looking to use a name I know and is easy access and there are a few on other lists that MSE doesn't mention at all. Is there something wrong with them that I am not seeing?
For example, Yorkshire Building Society - Single Access eISA at 4.35% , or West Brom BS - Double Access ISA (Issue 3) at 4.25% both look better than others.
Is it the single / double access thing that means they aren't on the MSE lists? I need to be able to access without penalty if necessary, but it might not be needed so just being able to withdraw once or twice is fine.1 -
Well, there you have it. Same as the Limited Access Saver, Monument Bank, have confirmed a rate drop from 4.76% to 4.25% wef from 29 May 2025.

After 5 calender weeks so far to transfer into Monument and another 2 weeks delay from Zopa expected, I am wondering what rate I will eventually receive.wiseonesomeofthetime said:Well, there you have it. Of course, this is the problem with a variable rate product. I've got most of my ISA cash in 1-year fixes at around 4.5%. On the remote chance that I'll need the money I'll happily pay the (roughly) 1% penalty.wiseonesomeofthetime said:Well, there you have it. Monument must be aware that such a big cut is going to annoy a lot of their customers. Perhaps they're thinking that most will stay at 4.25%.0 -

Well, that just shows you the true value of trust pilot. A pointless entity.... Where as Money facts is a valuable comparison tool, famed around these parts.gesdt50 said:

The Moneybox Open Access ISA rate is reducing by 0.25% from 29 May.
Their current page says: "The rate on this product will decrease from 4.82% AER (variable) to 4.57% AER (variable) on 29 May 2025. This includes an introductory fixed bonus rate of 0.82% for the first 12 months."
I got an email saying my rate was reducing from 5.05% to 4.80% from the same date. My bonus is 1.05%.

I have to say I am cross with MSE for its inaccuracy on the main website saying that Cynergy Bank pays a fixed rate of 4.17%. It is in fact a variable rate.
What I'm after is a fixed rate (hence fixed term) cash ISA that I can transfer previous years ISAs into. Unsurprisingly, the best rate are variable. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.0 -
Looks like Monument are accepting applications again, though as already mentioned on here it is 4.25%.
Wonder what Tembo will do. Probably watching to see what everyone else is doing. It's a shame some are going down more than base rate reduction.
Looking at this thread and the MSE ISA page, I'm not a huge fan of the boosted rate ISAs for such short amounts of time, they mean potential continuous transfers. I hope it doesn't become the wider norm as it's just buying the top of the league tables.
Next it will be 10% for 2 weeks.4
