I have decided today to move this 20k ish to CHIP for their 5.9% bonus rate for three months and I’ll see what’s what mid July and decide what to do with my money thenAll was very easy to open the CHIP ISA and add bonus and initiate the transfer
Anyway I've just applied the promo code. Promotion expires 24 April so you could still try?
Could anybody confirm when the 5.9% expires please?
Is it 90 days from your first deposit or 90 days from when you apply promo code?
What sort of transfer did you attempt?
If an ISA transfer, you must request that from the receiving ISA provider.
If just a normal bank xfer, £20k is the maximum annual allowance you have for an ISA.0 -

If just a normal bank xfer, £20k is the maximum annual allowance you have for an ISA.You are aware that there is an annual allowance of £20k and that you cannot pay more than this into an ISA yes? You would have used your 2025/26 allowance if you made this £20k transfer.Flexible ISAs allow you to withdraw and replace money into the same ISA as it was removed from. Move it to a different ISA yourself and it is counted as new money.0 -

The transfer from Natwest was into my current Zopa ISA.
Transfer into Chip is from Zopa. Prior year allowances.

Monument ISA now allowing transfers in. This makes it my most favoured 25-26 flexible Cash ISA at the moment.Downside is the minimum balance of £10,000. This means if I deposit £15,000 I can withdraw a maximum of £5000 over the 25-26 year before replacing it at the end of the tax year."Your Easy Access Cash ISA must not be, and is not designed to be, used for day-to-day transactions,
such as paying bills, regularly moving money between other savings accounts and your Linked
Account"The above is from their T&C`s - slightly concerning, as at times I would move money frequently from my Flexible Cash ISA to my linked bank account and then on to savings accounts.I have never seen a possibly restrictive clause like this before. There is a 30 day window to fund the ISA. Will there be better ISA offers soon (I dislike the 3 month bonus offers and anyway I am not a new customer) - I have my doubts.

Then that makes a lot more sense. Except that Natwest's online faster payment limit is normally £50k (£20k for standing orders).0
