Monument Customer Services
I have used their on line live chat, their In-app call and I telephoned them, all in the last busy week.
All of them responded/picked up immediately and no chat bots were used. On top of that the humans gave no set responses and were very knowledgeable. I am very impressed.5 -
Do you know if "whole transfers" also applies when transferring out (like ZOPA)? I have an ISA to transfer in but because I've already subscribed my 20K to Monument this tax year, the transfer would take me over 85K so I would like to transfer the excess to another provider when Monument receive it.flobbalobbalob said:Monument now has "Transfer in from existing cash ISA" on my app today.
Whole transfers only.

According to their FAQ's you can partially transfer out. You still have to find a new provider that accepts partial transfers in though.1spiral said:

Thanks, in my experience most allow partial transfers in or out. Zopa was the first I encountered which had to be all out and Monument is the first I've encountered which is all in although my experience with ISA transfers is quite limited.flobbalobbalob said:

I've initiated mine this morning and it was accepted. Also confirmed by e-mail.1 -
Monument doesn’t do partial transfers-in.1spiral said:

You would have to go via another ISA provider who does, and then in a second step make your transfer to Monument0 -
Thanks for this heads-up! They were a little late in coming out with these (I'm pretty sure they weren't there in the first 2-3 days of the new tax year because I looked, and already have other accounts with both). It's slightly irritating as these two providers are both among the ones who won't allow you to split your current £20k allowance between them and a different provider (and that info isn't always immediately obvious. Paragon is another one). I had already opened a Coventry fix with half my new allowance. So I'm going to transfer some previous years' funds into each of these, still undecided as to the best home for the rest of my 2025-26 money.pecunianonolet said:Kent Reliance Cash ISA - Easy Access - Issue 56 now with a slight rate reduction to 4.51% (previous rate 4.56%)
