Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

Great news! This is exactly what I wanted. I have £43k in VM in need to be transferred soon to a better rate (currently 4.51%, drops to 4.11% on 19th May). Given the complexity of fintech platforms's cash ISA products I prefer to transfer this balance to a proper bank. 4.76% is the best offer to meet my criteria for this transfer.friolento said:flobbalobbalob said:Monument now has "Transfer in from existing cash ISA" on my app today.
Whole transfers only.Excellent, thank you for the heads up! Have just requested a transfer.Aside from whole transfers only, they also don't support any notice periods - i.e. if your to-be-transferred ISA isn't easy access, the old provider might not process the transfer request as you haven't given your permission for early termination of the old ISA.
Also only 1 transfer at any one time.
I have split my 2025/26 allowance between 4 institutions - £10k Monument, £3300 Tembo, £3300 T212, £3300 CMC and spared £100 for potential offers at the end of tax year.
I'd like to transfer the whole VM balance to Monument, but I'm not sure if I can do it. I've already initiated a small test transfers to Tembo, T212 and CMC. Tembo and T212 show no movement for 10 days now, transfer to CMC initiated today (don't know how long this might take).
My question is - what would happen if I initiate the whole balance transfer to Monument? Would it still go through if one of fintechs grab their part first?0 -
I ignored the Dont accept transfers message and then when you get the account open, click on deposit and the option is there to "transfer in"northernstar007 said:flobbalobbalob said:Monument now has "Transfer in from existing cash ISA" on my app today.

I downloaded the app yesterday but didn't complete the transfer request as NatWest would not let me transfer more than £20K 😤PowerSavingMode said:
I dilly-dallied and missed the boat, as I think Chip withdrew it today (ironically, I went to open it today). That'll teach me.VNX said:Having been nonplus about the three month bonus rates up to now, currently having my emergency fund/easy access money with ZOPA at 4.5%
I have decided today to move this 20k ish to CHIP for their 5.9% bonus rate for three months and I’ll see what’s what mid July and decide what to do with my money thenAll was very easy to open the CHIP ISA and add bonus and initiate the transfer
Anyway I've just applied the promo code. Promotion expires 24 April so you could still try?
Could anybody confirm when the 5.9% expires please?
Is it 90 days from your first deposit or 90 days from when you apply promo code?
What sort of transfer did you attempt?
If an ISA transfer, you must request that from the receiving ISA provider.
If just a normal bank xfer, £20k is the maximum annual allowance you have for an ISA.0 -
All my ISAs are flexible so I was just trying to move sine cash around. NatWest my current account have a daily limit of 20k but they do allow one off transfers up to 100k. I couldn't get it to work and wasted too much time trying to be put through to a human so I'll be switching my current account.friolento said:Gambler said:

If just a normal bank xfer, £20k is the maximum annual allowance you have for an ISA.You are aware that there is an annual allowance of £20k and that you cannot pay more than this into an ISA yes? You would have used your 2025/26 allowance if you made this £20k transfer.Flexible ISAs allow you to withdraw and replace money into the same ISA as it was removed from. Move it to a different ISA yourself and it is counted as new money.0 -
I know what I'm doing thanks. Not used any of my 25/26 allowance.masonic said:

If you've downloaded the app, opened the ISA, activated the promo code and then attempted to transfer in more than £20k from your current account, you can naturally understand why it appears you need that information.Gambler said:

The transfer from Natwest was into my current Zopa ISA.
Transfer into Chip is from Zopa. Prior year allowances.

Monument ISA now allowing transfers in. This makes it my most favoured 25-26 flexible Cash ISA at the moment.Downside is the minimum balance of £10,000. This means if I deposit £15,000 I can withdraw a maximum of £5000 over the 25-26 year before replacing it at the end of the tax year."Your Easy Access Cash ISA must not be, and is not designed to be, used for day-to-day transactions,
such as paying bills, regularly moving money between other savings accounts and your Linked
Account"The above is from their T&C`s - slightly concerning, as at times I would move money frequently from my Flexible Cash ISA to my linked bank account and then on to savings accounts.I have never seen a possibly restrictive clause like this before. There is a 30 day window to fund the ISA. Will there be better ISA offers soon (I dislike the 3 month bonus offers and anyway I am not a new customer) - I have my doubts.
