ou can only pay your ISA Allowance into one Principality cash ISA in the current tax year.

Interesting, does that also apply to transfer ins or just current year subscriptions?

Some answers are obvious but only if you know the answer!

If I transfer an easy access ISA, and the ISA states interest is paid annually, would that accrued interest be credited when the transfer takes place or would I have to come back on the anniversary to gather up the interest accrued before the transfer took place?

The interest is paid annually but the interest accrued up to the transfer date would be added to the balance on the f transfer

Typically interest is calculated daily, even if it it is paid annually. When you close/transfer, any interest is paid and included with the closing/transfer balance

Could someone clarify. I took out the Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA issue 2 in December and made a note that it was 4.85% AER (inc bonus). I happened to login recently and noticed my interest rate is now 4.70% AER (inc bonus) which is the same as the current issue 4. Did I miss something? Have they reduced the issue 2 rate? I didn't get any notice of that.

They reduced on 5th December, according to offsale leaflet.
I couldn't comment on them giving notice of the reduction, as I don't have that issue.

Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA (Issue 2)
    £1 - £1,000,000 (with bonus) 4.85% to 05/12/2024 then 4.70%
    £1 - £1,000,000 (without bonus) 3.30% to 05/12/2024 then 3.15%

"If you have £100 or more in the account, we will give notice of any reduction in interest or bonus rates at least 14 days before the change takes effect."

Worth checking how much you had in the account.

I don't have that particular account, but was sent an email from Principality on 19th November advising me of the reductions in the interest rates on 5th December of the accounts hold with them.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Looks like I applied after the notice was given but before it actually took place. Ah well, it was only 0.15% Thanks all.
