Can you transfer from one ISA to another within the same bank? I have a Barclays 2yr Isa I took out in Jan, the newest rate for their 2yr ISA is obviously a lot higher....so could i transfer? And if so I assume that the penalty for withdrawing/transferring still applies even though it's within the same bank and essentially same account?0

Yes you can transfer internally and also to another provider.andyhicks88 said:Can you transfer from one ISA to another within the same bank? There will be a penalty on a fixed account and the T&C will tell you what it is.
You will need to work out if the transfer is worth it.0 -
Can't see much happening on ISA rates until just before 21st September.0

Virgin 1 year fixed rate ISA down to 5.61% and a new 2 year fixed at 5.62%.

The Virgin Shuffle has previously been interpreted by me to be account holders shuffling upwards to new higher released rates with the 14 day cooling off period.
My apologies for misunderstanding.0
