That’s so sweet.
Can you login to your isa account.
If Yes.
On the screen that shows your balance, scroll down.
Select new savings account,

Fund with old isa.
Done in less than 2 minutes.
I’ve switched 3 times in 3 weeks, 5.2% to 5.5% and noe 5.5%.
I aim to switch again once or twice in the next 2 weeks.

Looks like Virgin have made the decision to not compete with the Natwest/RBS rates, as they've ignored them and basically just moved their rates 0.01% up from the next highest ones (Secure Trust Bank 2 year at 5.60% and Shawbrook at 5.53%).0

Login. Page down to savings and then the new ISA is shown and available. Select it and it takes a couple of minutes. It takes me three minutes to do two ISAs.kev1744 said:

Just switched again back to the 2yr @ 5.61%. Partly for the better rate but also to reset the funding and cooling off period as I’m planning on using up this year’s allowance in the next few weeks.uk1 said:

FWIW I’m uneasy about locking up liquidity for two years, even though there might almost certainly be future downside. All of my liquidity is literally in cash bank accounts and bonds and my current average which includes non-interest accounts is just below 5% average. My liquidity is for unexpecteds like healthcare, family needs etc and it’s pointless being a prisoner to good fortune rather than good fortune being the cause of stress it should be to release you from. Cash should be the facility of stress reduction rather than the cause of it.LoopySnooker said:

Two fixed rate 3y isa’s for emergency cash, I can get 10k for £182.46.
Only matters if I need cash in an emergency, as of November I won’t need the emergency fund as will have enough to start a new fund. Around and around it goes.0
