Just curious: do most of you have your ISA (ie tax-free) interest paid out, or do you keep it in to 'stack' your ISA allowance? And if you have it paid out, is this mainly for the income, or so you can use it to fund other accounts?0

nope...its not on my screen. i log on, my accounts are all there....to find the new isa i have to click products at the top...search for the isa, click on it that forces me to a new log on screen which is completely different log in details...different customer id, different password etc. then i can apply for it.uk1 said:

That’s so sweet.
Can you login to your isa account.
If Yes.
On the screen that shows your balance, scroll down.
Select new savings account,
Select the isa account you want.
Tick boxes and your Ni number in.
Fund with old isa.
Done in less than 2 minutes.
I’ve switched 3 times in 3 weeks, 5.2% to 5.5% and noe 5.5%.
I aim to switch again once or twice in the next 2 weeks.
Because of boe base rate rises.
i think issue is i was a yorkshire bank customer previously and virgin for some reason havent yet amalgamated all the log ins for the banks they took over. i had same issue previously where it was explained to me that although i was a virgin money customer...i wasnt ...i was in fact a yorkshire bank/virgin customer and the two different sectors wouldnt speak to each other.
virgin seems to have done half a job...again0 -

That is the procedure for me.

its an 05 account which i think is the issue as 05 is yorkshire bank part of virgin ...the new isa is part of 08 log in which i think is part of virgin or clysdale......my log in page looks like this... and it means that if i log into the 05 account....i then have to also log into the 08 account to check both. ive applied for the new isa...but they say im a new customer on the 08 and as such the transfer of isa from my virgin money (05) to virgin money (08) is an external transfer....oh joy

Bigwheels is right. Virgin and Yorkshire still seem to have different systems and the page he displays seems to be the only one which lets you choose which of the two sub-sites you want to use.A real nuisance.0

I think if people are giving informative comments regarding ISA accounts it`s acceptable for them to do so.
Previously I asked about the Virgin shuffle and how to go about it and received two helpful replies which were appreciated.
If someone wants a Best Cash ISA no chat thread, they are perfectly entitled to open one.

I agree. The discussion about the method of shuffling within the initial 14 day period very simply between Virgin fixed ISAs as they are improved in my view fwiw is another factor in making the Virgin ISA a particularly good choice for many ie one “of the best”. I think it perfectly acceptable to help each other do so because it is a bit of a knack that many would not otherwise benefit from and to me it seems the whole point of making the effort of sharing and helping each other in this thread.2010 said:I think if people are giving informative comments regarding ISA accounts it`s acceptable for them to do so.
