When I spoke to cs they said although the application for a transfer has to be via paper form the actual transfer is done electronically.

I'm interested in the Virgin flexible ISA 3%, but I'm worried they'll pull it out before the new tax year.

With the rules as they are, could I open the account now and only move money on the 6th April? Or does that count as trying to fund two ISAs with money on the same year?
Do you have any existing ISA funds you could transfer in - £1 will do. And then its open.

While I agree it is a bit annoying it only takes a minute or two to open a new account and transfer and close the previous one. Also as I quite like to get interest monthly and Cynergy pay annually you get the interest paid every time and that's 11 times in the last year.

YBS have launched a loyalty six-access ISA at 4%. The ISA is flexible but can only be opened by those who have held a YBS account for at least the last 12 months.
I've just opened this account, thanks.

For anyone wanting to transfer from Virgin ISAs, please note that you no longer have to check whether your account is listed as Yorkshire Bank or Clydesdale Bank. They are now listed as:

Virgin Bank with sort code beginning with 05
    and
Virgin Bank with sort code beginning with 82

Does anybody know if a partial ISA transfer out would count as one of the six withdrawals?
