Well that's a coincidence, it was Derbyshire that I was transferring from.
I never realised until now that if a transfer does go t*ts up, then the option exists to reinstate it with the previous provider. All my previous transfers have gone through fairly smoothly with the exception on the inevitable period of lost interest whilst the cheque is in the post.0 -
Bump. Will do another update of the first post of this thread at the weekend. Please call me 'Kazza'.0

I haven't really had the time this week to do an update to the first post until now. I have updated the YBS Anniversary ISA rate.
MO2 - I saw the Julian Hodge ISA on the 10th October when it launched. I made the decision not to add it to the first post, because it does have a penalty fee which is charged if you transfer out - even after the ISA has matured. See here. Having to pay a penalty if you transfer out will effectively reduce the interest rate paid, so it won't make the list for that reason. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

My father has just applied to transfer his ISA to HSBC which currently pays 6.32%.
Though not everyone can get that rate, as you need £15k+ and either a HSBC Bank Account Plus or HSBC Premier account (though Premier accounts are free if you meet the qualification criteria)
