Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

There are varied opinions on that. My own view is that if the bonus represents the bulk of the interest being paid (e.g. 3.% including 2.5% bonus) then you know the lowest interest rate you'll get for the duration of the bonus. Where the bonus represents only a small proportion of the total interest payable (e.g. 3% including 0.5% bonus), I think the bonus gives little in the way of a guarantee.louiseadav wrote: »- is there any advantage to a cash ISA that includes a bonus or one that doesn't?

Guys I have £3100 saved in my Nationwide ISA but the interest rate is basically non existant. I looked through the first page but it seems that to transfer you need a huge deposit. Can anyone advise a sensible way forward for me? I'm really not good at all this, I should have moved last month when the PO had a decent deal going.Debtfree!0

What rate is your debt at?0 -
All at 0% now, I have a plan in place to deal with it but am doing so whilst also saving. Some people may disagree but that's another question on another board

Looking down the list for variable-rate ISAs which allow transfers-in, you can get around 2.75% with instant access by post/telephone and a little more if you are prepared to give notice or open a fixed-rate ISA.DebtClearer wrote: ». . . Good morning, wonder if anyone can help - Applied for the Cov 60 day ISA last night and it said that they MAY need id and if they did it would be on the application form, but the application form did not mention sending in ID. Has anyone applied for this ISA and did you need to send in ID?
Thanks
Forgot to mention Im at work so I can't 'phone them!Edible geranium0 -
From what you have said, if they didn't ask for ID during the application then they have verified it electronically. It's quite common practice these days.
