Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

I've not got a Progressive account, but a number of ISA providers show 0% until the ISA is funded, so you're most likely correct it will change to 4.6% once you do that (assuming that's the ISA you signed up for).

I trust progressive to remain competitive slightly more than I trust Saffron. Though I don't trust Saffron at all, so that's not much of an endorsement.

Also true for Progressive. Mine was showing at 0% until I put £1 in.

I use an authenticator app to login and it's absolutely fine.

Its normal when upgrading accounts for them to pay interest earned at the point you upgrade. I do it regularly with Skipton and Principality

They have an app?

Thanks! I thought it was odd when the Tesco bank CS said that it would be calculated up until point of upgrade and only be paid a year anniversary. In the end, they were wrong on both accounts - I got paid the interest at point of upgrade and the end of the bonus year was not updated (IE still ends when my original bonus year would end).

Really? Surely the bonus year should end a year after you've upgraded. I'd pull them up on that.
I upgraded mine earlier today, so I'll have to see what mine says when it's gone through.
Worst case is, as it's only got this year's money in, I'll take it out before the end of the tax year and put it elsewhere
EDIT: yes, just checked and my account shows the bonus period ending the same date as the original anniversary of the opening date. I suppose with interest added early, at least it effectively means I've got a higher AER than advertised originally!

I have a maturing ISA, and a maturing Chase 4.5% savings account which i keep 10/11K in to prevent me going over 500 in tax earned.
thinking of transferring to a flex ISA and depositing my 10/11K in to that & opening a savings account to deposit most savings in to which won’t see me exceed 500 in interest for the rest of the tax year.
or should i just open an easy access ISA, another savings account and keep my set-up the same?
i see Monument are offering 4.34 flex isa & 4.51 savings (if have more than 25k with them)
also notice Tesco are offering 4.2% flex isa and Saga / Tembo offering savings at 4.5%.
Has anyone got any experience on if Monument are reliable and easy enough to work with? or would it be best with Tesco & saga / tembo?

I transferred my ISAs to Monument a few months ago due to bonus rates ending - was a bit sceptical at first, especially as app-only - but the transfer was smooth/quick and the one time I had to call customer service to clarify something that was very efficient. But I've not had any reason to do anything else since opening, so hardly a big sample size.
