thanks rachie77, i noticed it was your birthday yesterday, glad you had nice takeaway.

I decided i need to get motivated, i can't keep making excuses forever, will try it with hubby and if doesn't work will try to join a club as little one will now take a few ounces of expressed milk in a bottle (hurrah), so hubby could mind her whilst I go out.

After having lost the plot of my diet for the last 6 months I gave in & joined one of the local Slimming World classes...

Armed with my new SW info and the thought of an independant weigh in next Tuesday night *gulp* I am looking forward to a very good 'first' week. Fingers crossed for all you guys too!

Go for it Velvet - I joined Slimming world one month ago and have now lost a total of ... DRUM ROLL..... 11lbs :j Yep, 11lbs in exactly four weeks - am well chuffed - although still aware I have another 2.5 stones to go :o

Leave tomorrow night for a 2 week holiday in France/Switzerland so am really really going to try and be good while away but... ooh all the french bread, pastries and cheese !!! (oh and wine!)

Am determined that even if I pop back up slightly over the holidays that I will get is off again quick and continue, strictly, with the SW plan, I think its great - I eat TONNES of food too!

blimey VixAnn thats good going!! I know what you mean about resisting the French fares! Brie and baguettes are so yum!

I went out for a few cheeky glasses of wine yesterday (all allocted into my daily point of course!) and am now eating a poached egg sarnie with a laughing cow triangle (no butter of course)!

Weighed myself at my mums yesterday and i think i've lost another pound! I wonder what disneyland will do to my diet plan!!! eeeeek!

Well done VickyA, you should be really chuffed. I've a way to catch both you & Rachie77 up, hopefully I'll have been good enough this week to have lost a few pounds, I always do well in my first week usually.

Do you weigh at home or go to boots/ pay scales where you get a printout?

Well done Rachie77! We're doing well!

Go for it jenpoptab. We're all here to help one another!

I weigh myself at home on my £5 scales from Tesco. Work a treat ;) That way, I can weigh myself first thing in the morning before I have my breakfast! :D

Hey Linda, hang on in there lady! Just stick with it and it won't be long before you are in the land of the losing again :)

Wow VixxAnn that is quite some weight loss in 4 weeks! That has given me something to aim for, thankyou. I know you are now on holiday but I hope you had a lovely time :) You are right, you can eat so much food on this healthy eating plan that people at work say "Are you sure you eat that on your diet!?!" I just smile and say, of course :D

jenpoptab, sounds like you are off to a really good start :) Hope your weigh in brings you the news you are hoping for.

Nice one VickyA! Every pound off is 2 blocks of butter, makes you wonder which part of your body it came off of doesn't it :D

Got weighed in tonight at club and lost a whopping 4.5 pounds! OK, I know it's my first week of being back on the diet properly but it was still a really nice boost to send me into the coming week with :) Stocked up with Hi-Fi bars and can happily munch on those during the coming week.

Fingers crossed for next week.... good luck everyone!
