In 1999 I lost 3 stone ( via Weight Watchers)and was really pleased with myself. Ever since I seem to go up and down by a stone and can only seem to keep it off by joining a slimming club. I'm on my way up again at the moment but don't want to sign on for yet another club. I feel I really ought to be able to get to and stay at a sensible weight by myself.

Can I join in with this thread and see if I can finally kick the dieting habit?
I think I'm 10st. 9lb. at the moment and want to get back to 9st.12lb. I'll weigh myseld tomorrow and start on my diet or maybe I should call it a healthy eating plan?

After having lost the plot of my diet for the last 6 months I gave in & joined one of the local Slimming World classes. I'm really hoping this will give me the focus to get back on track with my diet again.

A big hi to all the newer faces on this thread :) You are all very welcome to share success and commiserations with everyone on here, that in itself is quite a boost to you - to know that you aren't alone in this!

Armed with my new SW info and the thought of an independant weigh in next Tuesday night *gulp* I am looking forward to a very good 'first' week. Fingers crossed for all you guys too!
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Well I've decided I'm definitely in need of losing weight, up to 12stone 11lb this morning (was before baby had a good feed though- excuses, excuses).

Anyway found old weightwatchers books and have decided to attempt that.

Fantastic likabu! That's brilliant. 1lb off is better than 1lb on (which I'm suspecting will be my situation). :)
